Good morning all, the coffee has been on since 0420 and it's already "Hump Day". I see that the NY Rangers dropped another one last night, lets go fellas and turn things around. They play tomorrow evening again, hopefully they can figure out a way to win one for a change. Anyway, enjoy everyone and remember to be safe out there.......?

    Good morning all, the coffee is on as usual and it's Thursday which means we'll be heading over to Schlesinger's Hudson Valley Cigars this evening. Got home from work yesterday and shoveled some more in the back, cleaned up around the barbecue grill and fire pit area. According to NOAA, the temps are suppose to get up to the upper 30s which should melt some of the snow today. I hope everyone has a great day and gets to enjoy a favorite or two...... ?

    Good morning everyone, the coffee is on and it's already "Hump Day". It looks like the snow has stopped for a bit, we had a little burst overnight which I'll clean up shortly.     Good morning all, the coffee is on as always and it's still snowing here in the Hudson Valley. So far, we got roughly 24" and I'll be going out shortly to clean off the vehicles and clear the walk and driveway for the third time. Code Red at West Point has been extended thru 1900 (7 pm) tonight which will keep all the drivers off the road and give the DPW crews more time to clean things up. Enjoy this winter blizzard if you can and be careful out there...... ☃

    Good morning everyone, the coffee is on and it's back to work Monday (tele-working as it's Code Red until noon tomorrow). We had a relaxing weekend, friends came over Saturday for brunch and a few drinks while we watched the beginning of the Rolex 24 live from Daytona. Weather wise, we are in a "Winter Storm Warning" according to NOAA. They are calling for a total daytime snow accumulation today of 10 to 16 inches with 3 to 5 inches tonight. It should end early tomorrow with less than one inch in total:

    Good morning all, the coffee has been on since 0420 as always and it's Friday! We had a good time at Schlesinger's last night, I let the guys know about Hank's passing and we all raised our cigars to our brother. Weather wise this weekend, we have a cold snap on our hands (currently 10°F with a wind chill of -7°F) as well as snow arriving sometime late Sunday evening / early Monday morning:

    Good morning all, the coffee is on as always and it's back to work Monday already. We had a good weekend overall, Saturday was relaxing and enjoyable at the Aroma Cigar Room. I tried two different house blends both produced by Francisco Almonte (owner of DBL Cigars). Then yesterday was a stay at home day after doing some morning shopping with Beth. Congrats to both Tampa Bay and Kansas City on their wins yesterday and getting to play in this year's Superbowl. Enjoy your week everyone and remember to be safe out there....... ?

    Good morning all, the coffee is on and it's back to work Tuesday. Beth and I had a very relaxing weekend, did some furniture shopping on Sunday as she wants a new living room set and a few other pieces. We finished the first season of Money Heist last night which is on Netflix:

    Good morning all, the coffee is on and it's already "Hump Day". So far, it's been a busy week here at West Point. Four to five hundred Cadets are returning daily from their winter break with all 4000+ being COVID-19 tested prior to going back to the dorm rooms. The entire Corps should be back by this weekend, online classes for two weeks and then in-classes start the beginning of February. Before we know it, graduation will be upon us and all.     Good morning all, the coffee is on as always and it's back to work Monday already. We had a good time at the new cigar shop (Aroma Cigar Room) this past Saturday, a number of us showed up to enjoy. Nice place and all and the owners are very hospitable. Yesterday, a couple of ole' friends (Bayamos and our friend Harry) and stopped by Schlesinger's from Troy, NY. I stopped over and smoked a stogie with them to catch and all. Beth and I watched some NFL throughout the weekend and there were some upsets. Thank god niether one of us have a dog in the fight this year. Anyway, enjoy the week everyone and smoke a favorite or two if you get the chance....... ?

    Good morning everyone, the coffee is on and it's finally back to work Monday. We had a great four days off relaxing and watching various movies on Netflix and a lot of college and pro football games. Unfortunately, Army came up short in the Liberty Bowl against WVU. The Cadets are off for at least another week as they'll start coming back in cohorts of 400 a day (all will get tested for COVID) and the last group arrive back here on the 18th.     Good morning all, the coffee is on as always and it's "Hump Day" (actually, the only day I'm working this week). I'll be kinda of busy this morning catching up on emails at work and closing out files for the year. The Army football team flies to Memphis, TN today to play in the Liberty Bowl against the Mountaineers of WVU which will be played tomorrow at 1600 (4 pm) on ESPN. This evening, we're heading over to Schlesinger's Hudson Valley Cigars to enjoy a couple of primo stogies and all. We hate to be out on New Years Eve with all the crazies, it's more fun to bring in the New Year nice and warm on your own couch. Enjoy everyone and remember to be safe out there....... ?
