Good morning all, the coffee has been on since 0420 and it's already "Hump Day". I see that the NY Rangers dropped another one last night, lets go fellas and turn things around. They play tomorrow evening again, hopefully they can figure out a way to win one for a change. Anyway, enjoy everyone and remember to be safe out there.......🤓

    Good morning all, the espresso is on and it's the start of another busy week. Congrats to the Army Football Team for winning the game Friday night and they are now the AAC Champions. The big game is this Saturday down in Washington D.C. versus Navy. All I can say is Go Army, Beat Navy! Congrats to the Philadelphia Eagles as well on their win and locking in a playoff position. Have a great week everyone and enjoy....... 👍

    Good morning everyone, the coffee is on and it's a cool 27°F outside as we speak. We had a great night at Aroma, number of the usual suspects were out enjoying primo stogies and all. We have a weekend full of sports starting with Army taking on Tulane tonight here at West Point for the AAC Championship starting at 2000 (8 PM) on CBS. There's plenty of NHL, NBA and NFL action as well so enjoy. Tomorrow is Pearl Harbor Day and the American Legion along with some local politicians are hosting a breakfast at the Newburgh Waterfront followed by a wreath laying ceremony. I hope you all have a great weekend and enjoy....... 🍺

    Good morning all, the espresso is on and it's another brisk morning here in the Hudson Valley. We had a great Thanksgiving weekend filled with family and friends throughout. Thursday, we went to our dear friends for Thanksgiving dinner; Friday, I put an eleven pound turkey on the smoker (spatchcock style) and we had Beth's sister over and our nephew Gary; Saturday, we worked the American Legion Christmas Bizarre in New Windsor, NY all day; and yesterday was Sunday Funday at the Newburgh Brewery. Congrats to the Philadelphia Eagles on their win yesterday and also a big congrats to the Army Football team as well for their win over UTSA. Tulane lost to Memphis Friday night, so the AAC Championship game will be this Friday evening at West Point on CBS starting at 2000 (8 PM). Have a great week everyone and enjoy....... 🤓

    Good morning everyone, the coffee is on and it's a brisk Thanksgiving eve morning as we speak. Not much going on right now as Beth and I are going over to our dear friend's tomorrow for Thanksgiving. Beth has already made the corn casserole that was asked to bring along and I only have to go to the shop to pick up a couple of bottles of wine. Later on today we'll be heading over to the Aroma Cigar Room Thanksgiving feast which starts at 1800 (6 PM). I hope you all have a great couple of days and enjoy as well....... 🇺🇸

    Good morning everyone, the coffee has been on for a while now and we finally got some much needed rain last night. We're heading over to the Aroma Cigar Room in Monroe, NY later on this afternoon to spend time with the fellas and smoke a couple of top shelf stogies. Hopefully tonight's Steelers / Browns game is not a blowout for Pittsburgh, it's always a better game when it's close. Anyway, have a great day all and enjoy....... 🤓

    Good morning all, the espresso is on and it's looking like we'll have another beautiful Fall day here in the Hudson Valley. We had a great weekend starting with Saturday at Aroma with the fellas. Beth and I watched some great football (both college and NFL) Saturday and yesterday along with sitting outside soaking up the sun while smoking some awesome cigars.     Good morning everyone, the coffee has been on for a while now and it's currently a brisk 34°F here in the Hudson Valley. Congrats to the Philadelphia Eagles on their win last night, they are now back in 1st place in the NFC East. We had a great time at Aroma last night, the place was packed and all were enjoying top shelf cigars and all. We'll be back there tomorrow morning around 10 AM for our Saturday round up. With only two weeks left in the 2024 NASCAR schedule, the racers are in Martinsville, VA this weekend with racing tonight, tomorrow afternoon and Sunday.     Congrats to the Eagles on their win yesterday and to Tyler Reddick for taking the checkered flag in yesterday's NASCAR race in Homestead, FL. There's only two races left in the season and there are still 8 racers eligible to be crowned the 2024 champion.     Good morning all, the coffee has been on for a while now and a happy Columbus Day to everyone. Congrats to the Eagles on their win yesterday even though it wasn't great. Also, congrats to Kyle Larson for taking the checkered flag in yesterday's NASCAR race. There's only four races left in the playoffs and they are down to the 8 racers eligible to take the championship:

    Today, Beth and I are packing for our European trip that starts tomorrow. We have a car service picking us up around 1230 (12:30 PM) and our plane takes off for Munich, Germany at 1700 (5 PM). We land at 0720 (7:20 AM) on Wednesday and will spend 3 1/2 days in Center City Munich. On Saturday, we catch a train at noon to Budapest, Hungary where we will spend 4 1/2 days touring both sides of the Danube River as Buda and Pest are seperated by the river. We've been planning this trip before COVID, finally are going to enjoy our European Vacation. Have a great week everyone and I'll try and stop in now and then when I can find a WiFi cafe / hotspot....... 🍺

    We had a good time last night at Aroma, the place was hoping and a big congrats to the Yankees on advancing to the ALCS. They won't play until Monday night and that will be against the winner of the Detroit vs. Cleveland series. Today, I'm smoking a 6 pound chicken on the smoker Spatchcock style. It'll take a good 3 hours and then a half hour of rest time before we can eat it. The NASCAR racers are in Charlotte, NC this weekend with racing tomorrow and Sunday afternoon. Lastly, I hope your favorite NFL team does good this weekend, Fly Eagles Fly...... 🤓

    Good morning all, the espresso is on and it's a brisk Tuesday morning as we speak. We had a busy day yesterday as one of our long time American Legion members passed away last week and yesterday was the burial and life celebration followed at the Legion. Beth and I along with a few others set up the Hall and made sure everyone enjoyed their lunch and all. The Yankees lost last night in game 2 of their playoff series with the Royals. They each won a game and it's the best of 5 in this round. Have a great day everyone and all those in Hurricane Milton's path, prepare and we will pray for you...... 👍

    Good morning everyone, the coffee has been on for a while now and it's cool and foggy morning as we speak. We had a good weekend overall: Beth and I helped out at the American Legion Clam Bake Fundraiser on Saturday and then yesterday we attended the annual Auxiliary Luncheon for Post 1796 in New Windsor, NY. I see that the Eagles lost, the Yankees won and the Mets have to win at least one of the two games in today's double header to make the playoffs. I hope you all have a great week and enjoy...... 🤓

    Good morning all, the espresso is on and it's a muggy Friday morning here in the Hudson Valley. We had a great time at Aroma last night, the place was packed and all were enjoying primo stogies as Army Football be Temple and the Yankees clinched the AL East. Unfortunately the Giants lost to the Cowboys, all I can say is Fly Eagles Fly. The NASCAR racers are in Kansas this weekend and the Yankees play the Pirates to close out the regular season. The Eagles play Sunday in Tampa against the Buccaneers, hopefully everything is cleaned up in time after the hurricane. Enjoy everyone and I hope all of you in the storms path is okay...... 🇺🇸

    Good morning everyone, the coffee has been on for a while now and it's a pleasant September morning here in the Hudson Valley. We had a good time at Aroma last night, a number of the regulars were hanging out along with a few new faces. The Yankees lost yesterday 3 to 2 and the Orioles won giving us a 4 game advantage still in the AL East. The Yankees will play the Athletics in Oakland this weekend and the NASCAR drivers are in Bristol, TN with racing this evening and tomorrow tonight. Also tomorrow, Army football takes on Rice at home and then Sunday the Eagles take on the Saints in New Orleans starting at 1300 (1 PM).     Good morning all, the espresso is on and it's looking like we'll have some rain off and on later today. Congrats to the Yankees on their win last night and hopefully they do it again tonight. Beth and I went to a Hudson Valley Renegades playoff game last night (they are a Yankees High-A team affiliate) https://www.milb.com/hudson-valley.
