Good morning all, the coffee has been on since 0420 and it's already "Hump Day". I see that the NY Rangers dropped another one last night, lets go fellas and turn things around. They play tomorrow evening again, hopefully they can figure out a way to win one for a change. Anyway, enjoy everyone and remember to be safe out there.......?

    Good morning all, the espresso is done as is the hearty breakfast (sausage, onion, red pepper, cheese, egg scramble) that I enjoyed. Beth and I will be going to a couple of local places to see what our choices are this year for vegetable / flowering plants for the gardens. We are also going shopping for new outdoor ornaments / fixtures as some of the ones we currently have need replacing. Congrats to the Yankees on another win last night, keep it up fellas and hold the throttle down. Enjoy everyone and stay safe out there....... :)

    Good Sunday morning everyone, the espresso is on and it's a cool sunny morning as we speak. We have a busy day at the American Legion in New Windsor, NY as we're hosting our semi-annual Legion Special fundraiser. It's always the first Sunday in May as well as the first Sunday in November. We sell 400 tickets which includes a buffet dinner and open bar. 5 people win $500, 5 people win $1000, and the grand prize winner gets $15,000. We do a 50/50 which is huge and there are gift baskets being raffled off along with a very nice basket of cheer. It's always a big hit and well attended for sure. Congrats to the Yankees on another win and if you missed the Kentucky Derby yesterday, it was a great finish for the books. Have a great day all and definitely enjoy....... 🇺🇲

    Good morning all, the coffee is on and I'm about to head over to West Point shortly for a Commissary / PX run. I'm going to stop at my old office and say hello to a number of my old friends and see how everyone is doing. Congrats to the Yankees on another win last night, they'll be back at it today with an afternoon game with the first pit at 1435 (2:35 PM).     Good morning everyone, the espresso is on and it looks like we have a sunny morning as we speak. We had a great weekend overall, the open house at the Legion worked out and yesterday was a relaxing Sunday Funday as always. The Yankees took 2 out of 3 in Houston and now they take on the Texas Rangers in Arlington for a 3 game series. Congrats to Carson Hocevar for taking the checkered flag in yesterday's NASCAR race and for being a first time winner as well. Have a great week all and enjoy....... :)

    Good morning all, the coffee is on and it's looking like we'll have a nice Spring day according to NOAA. Congrats to the Yankees on another win last night and sweeping the Red Sox in Boston. The Bronx Bombers we'll be taking on the Astros in Houston this weekend and the NASCAR racers will be racing at Talladega Motor Speedway in Alabama. Tomorrow at the New Windsor American Legion, we will be hosting our annual Family Day to raise awareness and membership in our community. Have a great weekend everyone and enjoy..... 🍺

    Good morning everyone, the espresso is on and it's wet morning here in the Hudson Valley. We had a great time at the Yankees game last night, the Bronx Bombers won in New York fashion with a walk of double in the bottom of the 9th inning. We got home late last night and then about 2 AM we had major down pours for a while. I'm going over to the Aroma Cigar Room in Monroe, NY later on this afternoon to smoke a couple of stogies and see how the fellas are doing. I hope you all have a great day as well and enjoy....... 👍

    Good morning all, the coffee is on and it's a beautiful morning here in the Hudson Valley. We had a fish fry at the New Windsor American Legion yesterday which came out great. We made over 75 dinners and the 50/50 winner of $265 was our bartender Joy. The raffled off two Yankee tickets with transportation for this Wednesday night's game and lo and behold, Beth and I are the lucky winners. The Yankees had a 5 game losing streak up until last night where they won in the bottom of the 9th 11 - 10. Let's go Yankees and get a winning streak now. Anyway, enjoy everyone and remember to be safe out there....... :)

    Good morning everyone, the espresso is on and I'm about to make a hearty breakfast before I go out and power wash the house. I see that the Yankees lost last night 3 - 2 despite being up 2 - 0. Let's go fellas and turn things around this afternoon as they have a day game starting at 1:35 PM (1335). We'll be heading over to the Aroma Cigar Room in Monroe, NY to catch most of it and kick back with a couple of tasty stogies. Enjoy all and go Yankees....... ⚾

    Good morning all, the espresso is on and it's finally starting to feel like Spring time out. Yesterday, the temps were in the 70s and the sun was shinning. I'm taking a run to West Point in a little bit to get some stuff at the Commissary and the Exchange (PX) and then afterwards we are planning doing some yard work. Time to transition the yard from winter to spring and start enjoying the outdoors again. Enjoy everyone and remember to be safe out there....... :)

    Good morning all, the coffee is on and it's a wet and cold start to the week. We had a relaxing weekend starting with hanging out with the fellas at Aroma Saturday and then winterising the new snowblower for the season. Yesterday, I stopped over to the New Windsor American Legion and gave a friend of mine some cigars, a 12 pack of beer and a nice Aganorsa Leaf coffee cup. He replaced the left brake line in Beth's car before we went to sunny South Florida and I owed him big time. Anyway, I hope everyone has a great week and enjoys....... :)

    Good morning everyone, the espresso is on and we are home safe and sound. The entire week in sunny South Florida was great, all the events were top notch and it was great seeing a lot of friends that we only see at the Great Smoke. Unfortunately, our flights were cancelled due to possible tornado warnings up and down the east coast. Our direct flight from West Palm to Newark turned into a flight out of Miami with a connecting flight through Chicago and then onto Newark. Total travel time was 17 hours and we didn't get home until 2 AM. I went to the Aroma Cigar Room yesterday to see how everyone is doing and everyone one of us said the same, "outstanding week". Anyway, have a great weekend all and enjoy....... 🍺

    Good morning all, the espresso is on and I'm about to start my day prepping for our trip to sunny South Florida. We had a good weekend overall: spent Saturday with the fellas at Aroma and then relaxed at home with Beth afterwards; yesterday, Beth and I went to the Newburgh Brewing Company for a local fundraiser and afterwards went over to the American Legion in New Windsor to spend time with friends and fellow veterans.     Good morning all, the espresso is on and we're getting ready to sit back and cheer the USA Men's Hockey Team on to a Gold Medal victory. Spent most of the morning and early afternoon at Aroma yesterday and then game home to prep for the upcoming blizzard. Yesterday, it was sunny and in the 40s so Beth and I did a rack of ribs on the grill. We actually use the grill year round but when it's nice out, we like to take advantage of it. The 2026 NASCAR season has officially begun with last night's truck race in the books. There will be racing this afternoon as well as tomorrow with the Daytona 500.
