Good morning all, the coffee has been on since 0420 and it's already "Hump Day". I see that the NY Rangers dropped another one last night, lets go fellas and turn things around. They play tomorrow evening again, hopefully they can figure out a way to win one for a change. Anyway, enjoy everyone and remember to be safe out there.......?

    Good morning everyone, the espresso is on and it's a brisk Fall day here in the Hudson Valley. I see that the Yankees lost at home last night to the Rays, let's go fellas and turn things around with a couple of "W"s. Today, a number of us are going to a Veteran's appreciation brunch put on by the Orange / Sullivan Counties Hospice group. I'm sure that there will be a number of veterans from the area I'll know and enjoy spending time with. Have a great day all and enjoy....... 🇺🇲

    Good morning all, the coffee is on and it's the last day of summer. We had a great weekend overall: We had a great day in the City watching the German Day Parade and the afterwards we went to Reichenbach Hall in Midtown where we enjoyed a few cold German beers and tasty foods:

    Yesterday was our 23rd anniversary and enjoyed brunch together. Afterwards, I went to Brothers of the Leaf and smoked a couple of cigars watching the Eagles win in the final minutes. I hope everyone has a great week and enjoys........ :)

    Good morning everyone, the espresso is on and it's a foggy / humid start to the weekend here in the Hudson Valley. We had a good time at Brothers of the Leaf in Newburgh, NY yesterday with a packed house watching Thursday Night Football and enjoying primo stogies. Tomorrow, Beth and I are taking the train down to Manhattan, NY to watch the German Parade and take in all the festivities:

    Good morning all, the coffee is on and it's a muggy morning here in the Hudson Valley. Congrats to the Yankees on their win last night, keep it up and put up another "W" tonight. I see that the Seahawks came back last night and beat the Patriots in the opening game of the 2026/2027 NFL season. The 49ers take on the Rams this evening which should be another good one to watch. Friday and yesterday afternoons, Beth and I spent the day at Fence Road Farm Brewery helping out with the Hop Harvest. We enjoyed it very much and plan on helping out soon:

    Good morning all, the coffee is on and it's the calm after the storm. We had high winds and a good amount of rain late last night into early this morning. The next fews should be nice here in the Hudson Valley according to NOAA:

    Good morning everyone, the espresso is on and a hearty breakfast is on the menu. A number of the regulars met up at Brothers of the Leaf last night and it's definitely going to be our new home for a while. I see that the Yankees got their butts beat late last night 10 - 1, let's go fellas and turn things around with a few "W"s. One good thing is that the Mets beat the Rays 3 - 2 keeping the deficit 4.5 games behind. Have a great day all and enjoy....... :)

    Good morning all, the coffee is on and it's a beautiful Saturday morning as we speak. Congrats to the Yankees on their win last night over the Red Sox, keep it up fellas with a few more "W"s. The NASCAR racers are night racing tonight in Daytona which is always fun to watch. Unfortunately, the Aroma Cigar Room in Monroe, NY is closing their doors this weekend after being open a good 6+ years. Between the economy and the NY taxes, they were forced to close. We are now transitioning to the Brothers of the Leaf by Stewart Airport in Newburgh, NY. A very nice private club that I've been to a few times already:

    Good morning all, the espresso is on and it's Friday to all you working folks. Congrats to the Yankees on their win last night and for sweeping the Orioles in Baltimore. The Bronx Bombers are taking on the Blue Jays this weekend at home and hopefully they keep up the winning streak they are currently on. The NASCAR drivers are racing this weekend up at New Hampshire Motor Speedway and the NFL preseason games continue today, tomorrow, and Sunday evening.     Good morning all, the espresso is on and it's a brisk Friday morning. I've been up since 0415 (4:15 AM) as I put a 8.75 lbs pork butt on the smoker at 225 degrees. It will take a good 12 to 14 hours to reach the desired 205 degrees internal temperature. Have a great weekend everyone and enjoy it as well....... 🍺

I'm heading to West Point in a bit as I have to stop by the Keller Army Hospital and pick up some meds from the Pharmacy.     Good morning all, the coffee is done and it's a wet and muggy week ahead of us here in the Hudson Valley. The only day worth actually doing yard work is tomorrow as the weather guessers at NOAA are calling for a mostly sunny one with temps in the lower 80s:

    I've already cleaned and polished a couple of pairs of work boots (yes, I still polish my boots as it preserves the leather), did some putzing around in the man cave (my work shed), and now I'm relaxing indoors as it's getting quite humid outside. Today is the rubber match with the first pitch being thrown at 1420 (2:20 PM). The NASCAR drivers are off this weekend for a well deserved break.     Good morning everyone, the espresso is on and it's looking like we'll have a beautiful day today here in the Hudson Valley after yesterday's rain storms. I got two thirds of the grass cut and the sky fell out. I'll finish up everything in a while after the sun comes out and dries things up. The Yankees got rained out as well and is rescheduled today for a day / night doubleheader. I hope all of you have a great day and enjoy it as well........ 👍
