Good morning all, the coffee has been on since 0420 and it's already "Hump Day". I see that the NY Rangers dropped another one last night, lets go fellas and turn things around. They play tomorrow evening again, hopefully they can figure out a way to win one for a change. Anyway, enjoy everyone and remember to be safe out there.......?

    Good morning all, the coffee is on and a happy Sunday to everyone. Congrats to the Yankees on their win yesterday, keep it up fellas as the Red Sox and the Rays are also winning quite a bit. The NASCAR racers will be starting their engines around 1500 (3 PM) today at Iowa Speedway, should be a good one again. Have a great day everyone and enjoy....... :)

    Good morning everyone, the espresso is on and a hearty breakfast is following soon. I'm heading to West Point in a bit as I have to stop by the Keller Army Hospital and pick up some meds from the Pharmacy. Going to stop by my old office and see a few of my friends as well and catch up while I'm there. I see that the Yankees lost last night 3 - 1, come on fellas and turn things around with a few "W"s in a row for a change. Anyway, I hope you all enjoy and have a great day...... 🇺🇲

    Good morning all, the coffee is done and it's a wet and muggy week ahead of us here in the Hudson Valley. The only day worth actually doing yard work is tomorrow as the weather guessers at NOAA are calling for a mostly sunny one with temps in the lower 80s:

    I've already cleaned and polished a couple of pairs of work boots (yes, I still polish my boots as it preserves the leather), did some putzing around in the man cave (my work shed), and now I'm relaxing indoors as it's getting quite humid outside. It was good to see the Yankees win yesterday 2 - 1, they are back home taking on Cardinals this evening. Have a great week everyone and enjoy....... 👍

    Good morning everyone, the espresso is on and very much appreciated. Yankees lost yesterday to the Cubs in Chicago after winning Friday evening. Today is the rubber match with the first pitch being thrown at 1420 (2:20 PM). The NASCAR drivers are off this weekend for a well deserved break. The Yankees are in Philadelphia for the weekend taking on the Phillies and the NASCAR racers are in Indianapolis with racing tonight, tomorrow, and Sunday afternoon.     Good morning everyone, the espresso is on and it's looking like we'll have a beautiful day today here in the Hudson Valley after yesterday's rain storms. I got two thirds of the grass cut and the sky fell out. I'll finish up everything in a while after the sun comes out and dries things up. The Yankees got rained out as well and is rescheduled today for a day / night doubleheader. I hope all of you have a great day and enjoy it as well........ 👍

    Good morning everyone, the espresso is on and it's a beautiful Sunday morning as we speak. We got all the yard work done yesterday and all we have to do today is put a spatchcock chicken on the smoker and enjoy a few cold ones and a couple of primo stogies.     Good morning everyone, the espresso is on and it's going to be a hot one this week with temps reaching the triple digits. I spent this past weekend in Massachusetts with long time friends and with my high school class mates celebrating out 50th class reunion. We had a great time reminiscing and enjoying each others company. Unfortunately while being there, the Yankees got swept by the Red Sox in Boston and everyone rubbed it in. Anyway, have a great week all and stay cool....... :)

Instead, I'm going to make a run to the West Point Commissary / PX and then hopefully it'll dry out a bit and I can get things done later on.     Good morning all, the espresso is on and it's been raining for a couple of days now and it's not letting up until sometime tomorrow afternoon. The Yankees game yesterday got postponed until September 22nd but today's game is still planning to start on time. The NASCAR drivers are ready to start at 6 PM (1800), fingers crossed the weather holds up for the green flag. Today, the Sons of the American Legion at Post 1796 are hosting a Memorial Day Brunch which is open to the public. Always a good time and a great meal for all to enjoy.     Good morning everyone, the coffee is on and I'm about to make a nice and hearty breakfast consisting of avocado toast with eggs over easy on top. I'm sure that most of you have heard that NASCAR racer Kyle Busch past away yesterday at the age of 41. Way too young to go especially with his his talents and all. It'll be a solemn weekend in the NASCAR Nation and I'm sure there will be a huge dedication to him prior to the Coca-Cola 600 this Sunday in Charlotte, NC. The Yankees lost yesterday 2 - 0 and will be taking on Tampa this weekend, hopefully they put up a number of "W"s. Enjoy your Memorial Day weekend all........ 🇺🇲

We had our elections last night at American Legion Post 1796 in New Windsor, NY and I was voted in as the commander for another year.
