Good morning all, the coffee has been on since 0420 and it's already "Hump Day". I see that the NY Rangers dropped another one last night, lets go fellas and turn things around. They play tomorrow evening again, hopefully they can figure out a way to win one for a change. Anyway, enjoy everyone and remember to be safe out there.......?

    CW Admins - I’m subscribed to The Lounge, but replies & comments to THIS SPECIFIC daily post never show up in my Feed nor my “orange ball”.

    It would help the whole “we need to be able to follow a thread” and “we’d like to follow specific people & topics” to improve “community”, if we can subscribe/follow:

    * any post or reply or comment,

    * any member, and

    * any topic that is tagged (#) or pinned,

    So that ANY activity across the website of these 3 things be listed in our Feed & “orange ball” BY NAME.

    Example:

    I’m currently following every Legacy Ward B member I’ve found. But I’m not notified of their posts/replies/comments by name. Further, if they post some Group I’m not subscribed to, I’ll never see it.

    Good morning all, the coffee is on and it's looking like we'll have a sunny day here in the Hudson Valley. Temps will be in the 60s so after work, I plan on sitting out and smoking a stogie with a couple of cold ones and put something on the BBQ. Enjoy everyone...... ?

    Good morning everyone, the coffee is on as always and it's back to work Monday. I worked half the day Saturday (teleworking) and then did some yard work and cut the grass. Enjoyed a few of my favorite cigars afterwards out back and had a bonfire in the fire-pit getting rid of branches that fell off the trees during the winter. Yesterday was a stay in the house day as it rained all day and we caught up on shows we had DVR'd for the past couple of weeks. Weather wise this week according to NOAA, we have rain today, a couple of days of sun and then a couple of more days of rain:

    Good morning and happy weekend, Ward B. I hope you all are doing well.

    That's exciting news for the senior class, Charlie. Congrats to them!

    With the influx of cigars from my Easter Bunny, I'm going to enjoy one this afternoon. The temps will be in the mid 60's today with no rain, so I will be able to sit outside and smoke, a lovely change from being cooped up for so long this spring.

    Good morning all, the coffee has been on since 0415 and I'm about to head out to West Point shortly. The United States Military Academy along with Head Quarters Army has made a decision to bring back the senior class (Firsties) so they can graduate and become Second Lieutenants in this great US Army of ours. They come back between the 27th and 28th of May and get ready for the 13th of June when President Trump (Commander in Chief) will preside over the ceremony. A lot will happen between now and then and more will follow. Enjoy your weekend everyone...... ?

    Good morning everyone, the coffee is on and it's another brisk day in the Hudson Valley. According to NOAA, we have a couple of days of rain with low temps and then a sunny day on Saturday with temps in the lower 60s. Enjoy your day all and remember to be safe out there...... ☕

    Today - Showers likely, then showers and possibly a thunderstorm after 3pm. Some of the storms could produce small hail and gusty winds. Patchy frost before 7am. High near 57. Light and variable wind becoming west 13 to 18 mph in the morning. Winds could gust as high as 37 mph. Chance of precipitation is 80%. New rainfall amounts between a quarter and half of an inch possible.

    Tonight - Partly cloudy, with a low around 27. Wind chill values between 15 and 20. West wind 14 to 17 mph, with gusts as high as 46 mph.

    Good morning all, the coffee is on and it's back to work Monday after a great day off. Yesterday, Beth and I relaxed out back after I split some wood in the morning. We barbecued some wings along with a batch of stuffed jalapenos. Smoke 3 of my favorite cigars along with a few cold beers from Newburgh Brewing. Heading to West Point in a few, I know it's going to be a busy week as the President stated that he's coming for Graduation which means meeting after meeting after meeting.     Good morning all, the coffee is on and it's Ground Hog Day (LOL). This is the new normal for a while, get up early; head to West Point at 0600 (6 am) and get get home after 1800 (6 pm). Yesterday's rain and wind brought down a lot of trees in the area, no damage at our house but there were roads closed for a while and the power was out for a number of hours. Thank god we invested in a whole house 16kW backup Generac generator two years ago. Stay safe out there everyone and I'll be back on tomorrow morning........ ?

I have my face mask and I'm prepared if I have to go to the commissary and all. It's Good Friday as well as it's Easter weekend.     Good morning and happy hump day.

    A terrific storm rolled through here last night, woke me up from a sound sleep. The people who put their garbage out last night (today is pick up day) had to do some clean up this morning. The wind and rain were crazy!

Last night, I did get to enjoy a couple of cold ones and a Pappy Van Winkle Toro that I've had in the humi for quite some time.     Good morning all, the coffee is on as always and it's Monday morning and another day in support of defeating the COVID-19 virus. I actually had a full day off yesterday for the first time in over 3 weeks. Beth and I relaxed out back and I enjoy a couple of primo stogies, some nice red wine and some BBQ on the grill.     Charlie, I totally understand not knowing what day of the week it is. I think if I didn't have a calendar to look at every morning, I'd lose track.

    I have a virtual party tomorrow afternoon to look forward to, so that's something. And our household is still healthy and employed. That's something bigger.

    Good morning everyone, the coffee is on and it's Friday (for what it's worth). Be safe Grace and take care of your self. Yesterday, Beth came into our computer room that I have converted into my current office and asked me what day it was. This is getting real to a lot of folks that we're in this for the long haul and until they find a cure, this is the new norm. I don't mind working 7 days a week to help protect the West Point community, I just hope that one day we look back at this and tell ourselves it was all worth it. Take a break when you can, enjoy a cigar or two and relax....... ?
