Good morning all, the coffee has been on since 0420 and it's already "Hump Day". I see that the NY Rangers dropped another one last night, lets go fellas and turn things around. They play tomorrow evening again, hopefully they can figure out a way to win one for a change. Anyway, enjoy everyone and remember to be safe out there.......?

    Good morning all and Happy Friday! I've been on staycation this week and honestly, I could get used to it. lol But today I'm going to poke my head in the office, as there is something I want to address. I will also be picking up some "take and bake" from a local restaurant trying to stay in business while not being able to open for dine in dining.

    I hope to have a cigar or two during the long weekend. I hope you do too. Enjoy!

    Good morning all, the coffee is on and it's back to work Monday. We had a good weekend overall: major thunderstorm Friday night took out our internet / VIOS TV for about 15 hours (entire grid was out); Saturday was beautiful, enjoyed a few cigars out back; yesterday was also another beautiful day and we got to watch the NASCAR race live from Darlington Raceway in South Carolina.     Good morning Ward B and Happy Friday!

    Wow, there's a lot involved with graduation, Charlie. What will you be smoking to celebrate the graduating class on June 13?

    It's been a while since I made a cigar purchase, and I have some sticks coming in the mail that I'm looking forward to trying. Saturday is looking great weather wise, so it will definitely be an outdoor smoking night.

    Good morning all, the coffee has been on since 0400 (early morning) and I'm off to West Point in a few. Got home from work yesterday and did some required maintenance on Beth's Subaru. The battery needed some love and care as the negative terminal was loose and a good cleaning was in order. All fixed up and ready to roll again.     Good morning everyone, the coffee is on and it's "Hump Day". In two weeks, the senior class (Firsties) will return to West Point in preparation for their graduation on the 13th of June with the President as the guest speaker. There's a lot that has to get done before the 13th for sure, i.e., medical testing, shipping of household goods to their next assignment, etc. There are strict guidelines in place as far as social distancing goes, feeding schedules and parade practicing for the ceremony itself. Time will fly by and the next thing we know our Commander-in-Chief will be landing his helicopter on the parade field for the graduation commencement. Anyway, enjoy your day all and smoke a favorite or two or........ ?

    Good morning everyone, the coffee is on and it's back to work Monday. Beth and I had a good weekend over all: Friday evening, she made one of our favorites, shrimp diablo with muscles; Saturday, I was on shift until 1100 (11 am) and then we went shopping to the vegetable market as well as to Lowe's to get mulch, weed & feed, and other garden stuff; yesterday, we planted our vegetables out back and our flowers out front. In the afternoon, I enjoyed 3 nice cigars accompanied by a few cold beers while barbecuing some wings and stuffed jalapenos on the grill. Today, they are calling for a couple of rain showers which will work out perfect as I have to spread the weed & feed on the lawn. Enjoy your week all and remember to check in on a neighbor to see if they need anything........ ?

    Good morning all, the coffee has been on since 0420 and it's Friday! I still have to work a half day tomorrow but I'm doing it from home utilizing VPN and VoIP phone service. According to the weather guessers over at NOAA, they are calling for a little snow tonight here in the Hudson Valley:

    Goooood morning fellow Ward B'ers. A sunny, but chilly day in the 'Burgh. I was planning on attending a virtual herf (outside) on Saturday afternoon, but the temps are going to be quite low, so I may have to stay inside and build a fire and blow smoke up the chimney!

    It's great that you got a socially distanced family gathering in, Mark. My family is nowhere close, so I've had to rely on Zoom for video chats (nothing unusual there), but a good friend will occasionally stop by if the weather is nice and we'll sit on the back lawn 12 feet apart and chat. :-)

    It's yard work here today too.

    Good morning Ward B’rs! Coffees been on for about an hour. Two of our three “kids” and son-in-law came over last night. We humans kept our distances, while all 3 new puppies socialized. It was fun to watch them get to know each other, and then chase each other around the yard!!

    Today is yard work after church.

    I couldn’t reply to your comment CG, but I doubt I’ll get a response from the Admins. We were told if you subscribe to a Group, then you’ll see everything that’s added in that Group. Sadly, that’s seems not true.

    Couple more Legacies told me they’re done here; “never mind”.

      It's really a shame to lose the Legacies. We had such great interaction.

      Things are as normal as can be here. We're healthy, fed, and working. I'm still working remotely most of the time and honestly, I really prefer it!

      I'm doing good brother, we're hanging in there. Getting ready to bring the Senior Class back to West Point at the end of this month for a June 13th graduation with the President as the guest speaker. Lot of meeting everyday both video and live at the EOC. Take care and hope to see you all soon....... ?

    Good Friday morning and Happy Beltane! I wish the weather was better and there was actually a place and people to dance around the May Pole. :-)

    While I'm not doing "regular" work on Saturday, I do have an online workshop I have to attend. I really hope the weather improves for an outside smoke and cocktail this weekend.

    Good morning everyone, the coffee is on and it's Friday. Not sure how many of you are working the weekend, we have decided to split up the weekend schedule in the Emergency Operations Center here at West Point. Both for Saturday & Sunday, there's a morning, afternoon and evening shift to give everyone a little time off and relaxation. I have the morning shift tomorrow, with the nice weather heading our way, I should be out back in the afternoon enjoying a primo cigar or two and a couple of cold ones with the BBQ going. I hope you all get to do the same, enjoy and be safe out there....... ?
