Good morning all, the coffee has been on since 0420 and it's already "Hump Day". I see that the NY Rangers dropped another one last night, lets go fellas and turn things around. They play tomorrow evening again, hopefully they can figure out a way to win one for a change. Anyway, enjoy everyone and remember to be safe out there.......?

    Good morning everyone, the coffee is on and it's a snow blanketed Wednesday here in the Hudson Valley. Yesterday, we got a good 3 to 4 inches of heavy snow that should be around for a few days to give up the holiday spirit. Got some running around to do later on with Beth and then we'll come home and watch a few of our favorite Christmas movies / shows. Enjoy all....... 🎅🎄🤶

    Good morning everyone, the espresso is on and it's December 1st already. We had a great weekend over all: the house and property is transformed from Fall to Christmas and the New Windsor American Legion Post 1796 is as well. Congrats to Army on their 6th win Saturday over UTSA and now are Bowl eligible. Beth and I plan on taking it easy this week being that it's only going to get busier as the holidays arrive.     Good morning everyone, the espresso is on and we are about to go out to the local market before the crowds get there. Later on today we'll be heading over to the Aroma Cigar Room to hang out with the fellas and enjoy some Thanksgiving festivities as they are closed tomorrow.     Good morning all, the espresso is on and it's a frosty Sunday morning as we speak. Beth and I volunteered yesterday at the Germania Christkindl Markt in Poughkeepsie, NY. The place was packed and everyone had a great time: https://germaniapok.com/christkindl/

    Today, we are heading over to the New Windsor American Legion Post 1796 for an award ceremony that a couple of our long time members will receive. We'll get home just in time to watch the Eagles take on the Cowboys, Fly Eagles Fly. Enjoy your day everyone and smoke a favorite if you get the chance....... 👍

    Good morning everyone, the coffee has been on for a while now and it's another day in the nieghborhood. There's not much going on today except for going to the Aroma Cigar Room in Monroe, NY later on this afternoon. Beth and I along with a couple of others are hosting Thanksgiving at the New Windsor American Legion next Thursday. We had a few donations from some of our members which is always heart warming.     The weekend went like it was planned, we relaxed at home watching football (College and NFL) both yesterday and on Saturday and we also got to see some friends and relatives on Saturday. Congrats to the Eagles on their close win last night, it was another defensive win for Philadelphia. I hope you have a great week everyone and remember to be safe out there....... 🍺

    Good morning everyone, the espresso is on and it's a sunny Friday as we speak. We had a great time at Aroma last night, the place was hopping and the usual suspects were out enjoying. Unfortunately, the Jets lost to the Patriots with a final score of 27 - 14. We have a relaxing weekend ahead of us, a couple of get togethers and a BBQ for dinners.     Good morning all, the coffee has been on for a while now and it's another chilly morning (37°F) here in the Hudson Valley. We had a great day yesterday celebrating Veterans Day both at the Wreath Laying Ceremony as well as the American Legion Hall. There was a big turn out at both locations and everyone enjoyed a hearty lunch back at the Legion. Thank you to all the Veterans past, present and still serving this great nation of ours. We had a great day yesterday celebrating with my wife Beth and all of our Legion friends along with local and federal politicians. I see that the Giants lost and the Jets won again. Hopefully the Eagles beat the Packers tonight in Green Bay, WI. Fly Eagles Fly! Enjoy your day all and please thank a Veteran tomorrow in your travels...... 🇺🇲

    Good morning all, the coffee is on and it's another chilly Friday morning as we speak. We had a good time at Aroma last night, a number of the regulars were out enjoying top shelf stogies paired with premium bourbons. We have a rather busy few days in front of us starting with today: we're hosting the New York State American Legion Commander luncheon today from noon until 1 PM (1300); then this evening is the State Commander's Black Tie event at a local establishment. Tomorrow is prep day for Sunday's Veterans Day Brunch that we'll host at the American Legion Post 1796 from 0830 - 1130 (8:30 AM - 11:30 AM). Afterwards, we'll head over to the New Windsor, NY Veterans Center for a luncheon and finish off the afternoon / evening listening to jazz music at the Wherehouse in Newburgh, NY. Monday, we have break from everything and then Tuesday (Veteran's Day) I am the Master of Ceremonies at the New Windsor, NY Veterans Day Wreath Laying Ceremony. Afterwards, everyone is invited back to our American Legion for lunch and dessert. I'm already tired just listing the events that we'll be apart of, LOL. Have a great weekend everyone and enjoy a favorite or two or....... 🇺🇲

    Good morning everyone, the espresso is on and I'm about to prepare a hearty breakfast as today will be a busy one. We had a good time at Aroma last night, the usual suspects were out enjoying primo stogies paired with top shelf bourbon. Sports wise this weekend, game 6 of the MLB World Series is tonight; NHL is in full swing; NASCAR is in Phoenix with racing tonight, tomorrow evening and Sunday afternoon to determine all 3 series champions; then Sunday is full of the NFL games starting at 1300 (1 PM) EST. I hope you all have a great weekend and enjoy....... 🍺

    Good morning all, the coffee is on and it's a wet and brisk out this morning. NOAA is predicting rain through tomorrow and should be okay for the little ones tomorrow evening to enjoy Trick-or-treating. Beth will be home handing out candy all evening while I'll be at the New Windsor American Legion helping out with the Halloween Pizza Party.     Good morning everyone, the espresso is on and it's a chilly Monday morning (32°F) here in the Hudson Valley as we speak. We had a great weekend overall: Friday evening was a hoot handing out candy to the little ones; Saturday, we walked the annual "Walk to End Alzheimer’s" in Montgomery, NY; afterwards, we relaxed at home with a fire pit going all day while enjoying top shelf cigars and cold beers; yesterday, I split some firewood and then relaxed inside watching the Eagles win over the Giants "Fly Eagles Fly" and then we caught the end of the NASCAR race to see William Byron capture the checkered flag and make it to the final four which will decide next Sunday with crowning the 2025 Champion. The World Series is tied up a game a piece with game 3 tonight in LA starting at 2000 (8 PM). Have a great week all and enjoy....... 🇺🇲

    Good morning all, the coffee is on and it's Thursday which means we'll be at the Aroma Cigar Room in Monroe, NY later on this afternoon into the early evening. We are definitely in the full Fall season as the leaves are falling and the nip is in the air each and every morning. Tomorrow, a few of us will be at the annual New Windsor, NY Halloween Party representing the American Legion Post 1796 handing out candy during the Trunk-or-Treat. It's always fun to see the little ones come out and have a great time. Anyway, enjoy everyone and we hope to see some of the local S/BOTL later on....... 🎃

    Good morning all, the espresso is on and I'm about to prepare a hearty breakfast to start the day. Beth and I got up early yesterday to be at the sendoff for the Hudson Valley Honor Flight which everyone had to be there by 0630 (6:30 AM). There was 80 veterans on the flight of which one of them was a WWII vet, a number of Korean War vets, a large number of Vietnam conflict vets, and a few Cold War vets as well. Afterwards, we did some Fall yard work and then relaxed for the remainder of the day. Today, we'll be heading over to the American Legion Post 1796 in New Windsor, NY for their annual chili cookout. It's always a great time and a gas, LOL. Anyway, I hope everyone has a great day and enjoys....... 🍺

    Good morning all, the coffee is on and it's a mild 55°F out as we speak. We had a productive weekend overall: Saturday, a number of us met at the New Windsor, NY American Legion and had a clean up / working party for a few hours; then in the afternoon we went to the Newburgh Elks lodge for a fundraiser; yesterday, Beth and I went to Krucker's Oktoberfest in Pomona, NY which is always a great time. Sports wise this weekend, the Yankees are down 2 games to nothing and the Eagles lost to the Broncos. Army football won as well as Oklahoma, and Michigan. Have a great week everyone and enjoy........ :)
