Smoked: Arturo Fuente Don Carlos

Back from vacation. -12 degrees outside. I could clean up some of the snow that’s blown back or have another cup of coffee and light up Don Carlos. Coffee and smoke wins.

    Been stuck on the Hemingway Signature. Almost picked up a Don Carlos at the cigar shop last week. I need to try one. Any advice on best wrapper, best vitola?

      My advice is to try a lot of different smokes and find what you like. I have a different cigar every night. What is good when you are in one mood may not be in a different mood. I can’t handle flavored smokes where some love them. I guess what I’m saying is my advice would be good for me but not necessarily for anyone else.

      Goomba, I've found (and I was really surprised to come to the realization) that my mood can affect how a particular cigar "hits" me. Interesting... kinda like music. Or food. Or _____ (fill in the blank). 🤣
