Stress Reduction Accomplished
Many of you know that I am a huge fan of Rocky Patel’s Sun Grown Robusto’s. They’re my number 1 favorite in my day-to-day rotation. With a fair selection of sticks, I probably smoke one per week. The Sun Grown Toro is a fabulous vitola, as is the Sixty. I’ve even had a few excellent Sun Grown Petite Corona’s.
Yesterday was so hectic that my cigar time was drastically cut short. I was even considering not indulging at all. Then I remembered I had a few 4 x 38 Sun Grown Junior’s in my humidor. Normally, I like to savor a cigar, and can make a robusto last almost 2 hours. I like to take my time, obviously, and get lost in the sublime pleasure of a fine stogie.
This little gem checked all the boxes. I think I even made it last almost 45 minutes, but I was so weary of looking at the clock all day that I wasn’t too concerned about it. With slow sipping, its flavor was quite similar to its bigger brothers.
Paired with a shot of Evan Williams Kentucky Bourbon and a Sam Adams Boston Lager, the stress of the day gradually melted away. Cheers! 🥂
