Smoked: Nat Sherman Sterling

Flash disrupted the photo ( Band is beautiful) photo doesn't do it proper justice...

I don't even know what to say guys. I'm completely in AWE. These cigars are UN-attainable and me having a few in the humidor is an honor.

The Nat Sherman Sterling is a cigar that was launched at the 2013 IPCPR Trade Show in Las Vegas. This cigar would be the fourth blend and third line (joining Nat Sherman 1930 and the two Timeless Collection lines) of the Michael Herklots era at Nat Sherman. It was in 2011 when Herklots joined Nat Sherman as Executive Director of Retail and Brand Development (and now recently promoted to Vice President). * P.s. Michael was promoted in 2011. Nat Sherman went Defunct in 2021-22 and the Brand (Ferio Tego) has the rights to some of the cigars Nat Sherman used to make. Via Owner Michael Herklots.*

The Sterling addresses a particular niche in the Nat Sherman portfolio – delivering an ultra-premium ($9.00 to $15.00 price point), milder cigar.

Look I love this brand! I am not employed or get any incentives of the sales of this brand or the (Ferio Tego) brand. The brand created by Michael Herklots after The Nat Sherman Brand went Defunct back in 2021-22.

Look guys, the Nat Sherman Townhouse in Manhattan established in 1930 was EXQUISITE! it was truly a masterpiece of a cigar lounge and shop. ESTABLISHED IN 1930 brings back that old world feel, that vibe. That comfort with a fine cigar and bourbon or scotch whisky… Guys… I know Sherman cigars get alot of hate. And I have no idea as to WHY?! And with the 10 years post rolled age is one of the best smokes I've ever had! I wish the townhouse was still in business. In 2020 Nat Shermans grandkids sold the business to Altria Inc. A huge tobacco conglomerate. You know what happens when brands get in the hands of huge mega companies. THEY GO TO COMPLETE SHIT! well in my opinion Nat Shermans kids and grandkids looked at the money instead of the joy and pleasure their customers were getting. Which is sad!

It's the year 2024 and with the few True Nat Sherman cigars still out there I'm sure they will be savored and enjoyed by all who retains them!

The Nat Sherman Sterling gives me cedar forward notes… Also with a Cashew note that developed into a light popcorn note that I usually only get with opus x. I am blown away. I also tasted raisin and a touch of citrus. The cigar was very complex and the burn and draw was great!

This brand is Fantastic!

God bless you guys!

CHEERS!!!

Im just a huge fan of the brand. Established in 1930 it's a crying shame they are gone but at least Michael is keeping the legacy alive
