Good morning all, the coffee has been on since 0420 and it's already "Hump Day". I see that the NY Rangers dropped another one last night, lets go fellas and turn things around. They play tomorrow evening again, hopefully they can figure out a way to win one for a change. Anyway, enjoy everyone and remember to be safe out there.......?

    Good morning everyone, the coffee has been on since 0410 as always and it's a little chilly outside as we speak. The current temperature is 23°F with a windchill of 9°F according to NOAA. It will get sunny later on and the temps will get into the mid to upper 30s (hopefully):

    Good morning all, the coffee is on and it's back to work Monday already. We had a great weekend starting off with Saturday at the Aroma Cigar Room where we threw a surprise father to-be party for one of our BOTL. A good 25 family and friends showed up and as we smoke cigars all day, eat breakfast and lunch and enjoyed some top shelf whiskeys. Yesterday, after going shopping with Beth, we had our sponsored Cadet and his Cadet girlfriend over for the day. We enjoyed a couple of different pizzas from Leo's in Cornwall and relaxed watching college basketball and some NASCAR racing. Congrats to Ross Chastain for grabbing the checkered flag and for his first NASCAR Cup Series win. Enjoy your week everyone and remember to be safe out there....... ?

    Good morning everyone, the coffee has been on since 0410 as always and it's Friday! We had a blast at Aroma last night, the place was packed everyone was enjoying primo stogies, adult beverages and local fare from around the area. This weekend, the NASCAR drivers are in Austin, TX racing at the 3.4 mile road race track called Circuit of the Americas:

    Good morning all, the coffee has been on since 0345 as we have to be up and running in the EOC at West Point by 0600 this morning. Today is our bi-annual Full Scale Exercise being evaluated by our higher headquarters from San Antonio, TX (IMCOM). Because of COVID, we haven't been evaluated since 2019 by IMCOM. We have numerous exercises throughout the year in preparation for this level training. Most likely, the scenario will be an active shooter with add-ons for sure. The evaluation will run at least for eight hours and we're ready for them. At the end of the day, I know a beer will have my name on for sure. Anyway, have a great day everyone and enjoy....... ?

    Good morning everyone, the coffee is on and it's back to work Monday already. We had a great weekend overall: the music and beer (and cigars) were top shelf for sure Friday evening; Saturday, Beth and I along with two of our dear friends spent the day at Post 1796 American Legion in New Windsor, NY. They had a tasty Reuben sandwiches, Irish dancers, 50/50, etc. Yesterday, Beth and I relaxed and stayed home as I put the snow blower away for the season. Congrats to William Byron for taking the checkered flag in yesterday's NASCAR race, it was definitely high speed race with plenty of bumper to bumper racing. Anyway, enjoy your week all and be safe out there....... ?

    Good morning all, the coffee is on as always and it's Friday! We had a good time at Aroma last night, a number of the regulars were out enjoying top shelf stogies and all. Unfortunately, the NY Rangers came up short losing to the NY Islanders 2 - 1. This evening, we are going out to see some live music at the The Brewery at Orange County Hops:

    Good morning all, the espresso coffee is on and today is our tax day. We have an appointment at 0845 and hopefully it shouldn't take too long. Got all the documents filled out and all our required stuff in a folder as well. Anyway, the weekend went well. Saturday, we stayed home as we had a nice little storm and then yesterday we hit a couple of breweries in the area with a some close friends. Congrats to Chase Briscoe for taking the checkered flag in yesterday's NASCAR race and for scoring his first Cup win in the series. I hope everyone has a great week and enjoys a favorite or two throughout it.......... ?

    Good morning everyone, the coffee has been on since 0410 on this brisk morning (27°F) and it's Friday! We had a great time last night at Aroma, the usual suspects were out as well as a few new faces. It's good to see that the MLB came to an agreement, now lets play some baseball for us fans. The NASCAR drivers are in Phoenix, AZ this weekend and the New York Rangers take on the Dallas Stars tomorrow evening starting at 2000 (8 PM). Mother Nature is not being nice to us again this weekend as the weather guessers are calling for rain, snow and sleet with up to 3" off the white stuff by the time it ends tomorrow evening.     Good morning all, the coffee is on as always and it's back to work Monday. It should be a rather easy week as it's Spring Break at West Point and the 4000+ Cadets and Cadre are away taking a well earned week off. We had a great weekend: the Friday farewell to our brother in arms was great; Saturday, I spent the day at the Aroma Cigar Room with the crew; and then yesterday, Beth and I first went shopping and then relaxed afterwards watching the NASCAR race while we had a rack of ribs on the grill low and slow.     Good morning everyone, the coffee is on as always and it's Friday! We had a blast night at Aroma, the place was jam packed and we all were enjoying primo stogies talking about last week's trip to sunny South Florida. Today, we are saying goodby to one of our fellow EOC operators and throwing him a luncheon and then a few beers at the Newburgh Brewery afterwards. Our friend is leaving Government Service to begin a chapter in his life with a private global security firm based out of Austin, TX. Wishing the best for our brother in arms, we know he'll do well.     Good morning all, the coffee is on and it's Thursday which means we'll be at the Aroma Cigar Room in Monroe, NY this evening. We had a good exercise yesterday, just a couple of kinks we had to work out and we'll be ready for the grand finally for the day long Full Scale Exercise on the 22nd of this month. There will be external evaluators coming in to West Point to ensure we meet the Army standard and do what is supposed to done by regulations.     Good morning everyone, the coffee has been on since 0410 and it's back to work Monday. We got home yesterday afternoon after a great week in sunny south Florida. The main event on Saturday, "The Great Smoke", was absolutely outstanding. We saw and spent the day with a lot of dear friends in the cigar business. All the owners were in attendance being that most of them are based in the Miami area. That evening, we headed over to the Smoke Inn at West Palm for the Robert Caldwell event that was pack as well. After getting settled from the trip, Beth had a nice meal waiting on me and we relaxed watching the NASCAR race from California and a big congrats to Kyle Larsen for claiming the checkered flag.     Good morning all, the coffee is about to be on and the big day, “The Great Smoke”. We had a great past two days so far: Thursday, we spent the day with our dear friend Eddie Ortega down in Deerfield Beach and that evening we hung out with Alec and Bradley Rubin from Alec Bradley Cigars. Yesterday, we went down to Miami and had lunch and smoked cigars with Pedro Gomez Rodriguez from Drew Estate. Last night, we went to dinner at home on private golf course which was top notch. I know we’ll have a great day today at the main event, I’ll update all in the morning. Enjoy everyone……. ?

The guys are meeting up here at my house and we have a car service picking us up at 0900 (9 AM).
