Good morning all, the coffee has been on since 0420 and it's already "Hump Day". I see that the NY Rangers dropped another one last night, lets go fellas and turn things around. They play tomorrow evening again, hopefully they can figure out a way to win one for a change. Anyway, enjoy everyone and remember to be safe out there.......?

    Good morning all, the coffee is on and it's Thursday which means we'll be at the Aroma Cigar Room this evening. According to NOAA, we have off and on rain in the forecast through Sunday. Fully understand it's April and all, hopefully May is a little dryer and a bit warmer as well. Enjoy everyone and we hope to see a few of the local S/BOTL tonight....... ?

    Good morning all, the coffee is on and it's Friday (even though to me it's always going to be Saturday). We had a great time at Aroma last night, the place was packed and all. Today is the Yankees home opener and the NASCAR drivers are in Martinsville, VA for the weekend which is the shortest track on the circuit. Enjoy everyone, smoke a favourite or two or....... ??

    Good morning all, the espresso is on and it's a wet Wednesday morning. I'm planning on heading over to Lake Frederick shortly to talk with Dan and Janet about the availability of renting the cabins one weekend this summer for a "Quad State Herf Reunion".     Good morning everyone, the coffee is on and it's official, I'm retired! We had a great weekend, celebrated Friday evening at the Newburgh Brewery with a lot of our family, friends and close work mates. Saturday, I spent the dat at Aroma and then yesterday, Beth and I relaxed out back enjoying primo stogies and cold ones. Have a great week all and try and stay dry cause the rain is coming our way...... ?

    Good morning all, the coffee is on as always and today is my final day to go into work. I don't have much to do, go to the Personnel Office for the last time and turn in my access badge, have my out-processing survey and pack up a few final things in my old office. We had a good time last night at Aroma, watched the Yankees win 5 - 4 after being down 4 - 0 which is always nice on Opening Day. Have a great Easter weekend everyone and enjoy........ ?

Yesterday's retirement ceremony was special and thank you to everyone for the well wishes. Today is opening day for a number of MLB teams with tomorrow for the rest. I hope your favourite team does well throughout the season and makes it to the playoffs. I hope you all have a great day and enjoy....... ?

We had a good good weekend: spent Saturday at Aroma with the fellas and then dinner with Beth at home; yesterday after doing some shopping, we relaxed out back with a few cold ones and had some relatives stop over from Spearfish, SD.     Good morning all, the coffee has been on since 0410 as always and it's a breezy Tuesday morning here in the Hudson Valley. As a number of you know, I'm officially retiring in less than two weeks. My last working day is the 29th of this month and Social Security kicks in starting the 1st of April. This is not an April Fools joke, Beth and I talked and it's time being that I'm 65 years old plus and it's we're ready for the next chapter. Enjoy everyone....... ??

    Good morning everyone, the coffee is on as always and it's back to work Monday already. We had a great day yesterday starting with the "1st Ever Newburgh Leprechaun 1 Mile Fun Run" https://www.facebook.com/NewburghBrewingCompany. We met a couple of our dear friends at the brewery and then went to Ginny's Sports Bar for more shenanigans and then finished off the day at the Shamrock Tavern.     Good morning all, the coffee is on and it's Friday! We had a good time at Aroma last night, a number of the usual suspects were out smoking top shelf cigars and sipping on some fine bourbon. Sports wise this St. Patrick's Day weekend, the NASCAR racers are in Bristol, TN; the MLB is still in mid Spring Training; NHL and NBA are both preparing for their playoffs; the men's and women's NCAA basketball playoffs are beginning; and the summer olympics are just around the corner. Enjoy everyone and definitely be safe out there this weekend celebrating St. Patty's Day and all the festivities surrounding it....... ?

    Good morning all, the coffee is on as always and it's back to work Monday already. We had a great weekend starting with a wild game dinner at the American Legion in New Windsor, NY. They had over a dozen varieties of food to include: venison chilli, bear & moose meatloaf, mule deer steaks, wild boar stew, bbq rabbit, corn beefed venison and cabbage, salmon steaks, grilled trout, duck skewers, etc. It was a feast for a king and we all took food home as well. Yesterday, Beth and I relaxed watching women's NCAA basketball early and then NASCAR later on. Congrats to Christopher Bell for taking the checkered flag and to the entire Joe Gibbs racing team on the win. I hope everyone has a great week and enjoys....... ?

    Good morning everyone, the coffee is on and it's Friday! We had a great time at Aroma last night, the place was packed and all were enjoying top shelf cigars. This weekend, the NASCAR racers are in Phoenix, AZ with racing tomorrow afternoon and Sunday. Also sports wise, there's NHL, NBA, MLB Spring Training as well as plenty of college sports to keep you entertained all weekend. I hope you all enjoy and relax...... ?

We'll be at the Aroma Cigar Room this evening in Monroe, NY smoking top shelf stogies and catching up on the world's news. I just checked NOAA and the rain we had for the past day should be ending mid morning here in the Hudson Valley.
