Good morning all, the coffee has been on since 0420 and it's already "Hump Day". I see that the NY Rangers dropped another one last night, lets go fellas and turn things around. They play tomorrow evening again, hopefully they can figure out a way to win one for a change. Anyway, enjoy everyone and remember to be safe out there.......?

    Good morning everyone, the coffee has been on for a while now and it's cool and foggy morning as we speak. We had a good weekend overall: Beth and I helped out at the American Legion Clam Bake Fundraiser on Saturday and then yesterday we attended the annual Auxiliary Luncheon for Post 1796 in New Windsor, NY. I see that the Eagles lost, the Yankees won and the Mets have to win at least one of the two games in today's double header to make the playoffs. I hope you all have a great week and enjoy...... ?

    Good morning all, the espresso is on and it's a muggy Friday morning here in the Hudson Valley. We had a great time at Aroma last night, the place was packed and all were enjoying primo stogies as Army Football be Temple and the Yankees clinched the AL East. Unfortunately the Giants lost to the Cowboys, all I can say is Fly Eagles Fly. The NASCAR racers are in Kansas this weekend and the Yankees play the Pirates to close out the regular season. The Eagles play Sunday in Tampa against the Buccaneers, hopefully everything is cleaned up in time after the hurricane. Enjoy everyone and I hope all of you in the storms path is okay...... ??

    Good morning all, the espresso is on and it's officially Fall. We had a relaxing weekend full of BBQ, cold beers and a number of top notch cigars throughout. Congrats to the Yankees as they swept the Athletics this weekend, the Eagles were victorious over the Saints and Kyle Larson was the winner in Saturday night's NASCAR race. I hope everyone has a great week and enjoys...... ?

    Good morning everyone, the coffee has been on for a while now and it's a pleasant September morning here in the Hudson Valley. We had a good time at Aroma last night, a number of the regulars were hanging out along with a few new faces. The Yankees lost yesterday 3 to 2 and the Orioles won giving us a 4 game advantage still in the AL East. The Yankees will play the Athletics in Oakland this weekend and the NASCAR drivers are in Bristol, TN with racing this evening and tomorrow tonight. Also tomorrow, Army football takes on Rice at home and then Sunday the Eagles take on the Saints in New Orleans starting at 1300 (1 PM). Have a great weekend all and I hope you get to enjoy a favorite or two or....... ?

    Good morning all, the espresso is on and it's looking like we'll have some rain off and on later today. Congrats to the Yankees on their win last night and hopefully they do it again tonight. Beth and I went to a Hudson Valley Renegades playoff game last night (they are a Yankees High-A team affiliate) https://www.milb.com/hudson-valley. Great game as they won last night as well and the final game for the South Atlantic League Championship is tonight. Have a great day everyone and enjoy...... ?

    Good morning everyone, the coffee is on and it was and still is a beautiful weather time here. We had a great weekend with friends on Saturday and yesterday Beth and I relaxed out back. Congrats to the Yankees for taking 3 out of 4 from the Red Sox and are 3 games ahead in 1st place in the AL East. Chris Buescher took the checkered flag in yesterday's NASCAR race and I hope your favorite NFL team won. The Eagles play tonight and I'll be cheering them on to victory, Fly Eagles Fly. Enjoy your week all and remember to be safe out there....... ?

We had a good time at Aroma last night, a number of the regulars were out enjoying primo stogies and all. Congrats to the Yankees on their win last night in extra innings against the Red Sox which was the first of a four game series this weekend. The NASCAR racers are up at Watkins Glen, NY road racing this weekend which is always a change in pace. Have a great weekend everyone and enjoy...... ?

    Good morning all, the coffee has been on for a while and it's a brisk morning here in the Hudson Valley. We had a relaxing weekend over all: Saturday, I went to Aroma for a while and then came home to a nice home cooked meal and watched Army win again for two weeks in a row. The Eagles won Friday night, the Yankees won 2 out of 3 this weekend over the Cubs and Joey Logano took the checkered flag in yesterday's NASCAR race.     Good morning everyone, the espresso is on and it's Friday! We had a great time at Aroma, the place was packed and ready for some football. Congrats to the Kansas City Chiefs, it was a good game as the season opener. Tonight, my Eagles take on the Packers live from Brazil starting at 2015 (8:15 PM). I definitely want my Birds to win and all. The Yankees have a day game today against the Cubs in Chicago, let's go fellas, you got this. The NASCAR racers are in Atlanta, GA this weekend with racing tomorrow afternoon and Sunday. I hope you all have a great weekend and your NFL team wins this weekend along with your favorite MLB team as well...... ?

    Good morning everyone, the espresso is on and it's looking like we'll have another beautiful day here in the Hudson Valley. I'm planning on cutting the grass shortly and then later this afternoon we're throwing some turkey legs in the smoker which should take around 3 hours. This afternoon, Beth and I are going to West Point to tailgate prior to this evening's season opener Army football game against Lehigh University. Go Army! Also this weekend, the Yankees are back home taking on the St. Louis Cardinals and the NASCAR racers are at Darlington (SC) Raceway with racing tomorrow afternoon and Sunday evening.     Beth and I are going up to Kingston, NY later on this morning to ride the Rip Van Winkle II River Boat up and down the Hudson and we'll stop by one of our favorite breweries (Keegan's Ale) afterwards. It was good to see the Yankees win again yesterday and stay neck and neck with the Orioles and be 1.5 games ahead of them. The NASCAR racers are in Daytona this weekend with only 2 races left until the playoffs begin. This is the last weekend of preseason NFL, yeah baby, bring it on.     Good morning all, the coffee is on and most of the morning chores are done. Yesterday, Beth and I went out for an afternoon luncheon with her brother and sister in-law to one of our favorite places in town that is now reopened with a new owner:

We had a great time at the Connecticut Barn Smoker this past Saturday, the entire Drew Estate family to include Jonathan Drew, Willy Herrera, Pedro Gomez, etc., took care of us very well. Yesterday, Beth and I went to a local winery called Oceane Vineyards that was top notch:

    Good morning everyone, the espresso is on and we're halfway thru the week already. Yesterday was a pretty easy day starting with doing some shopping with Beth and then smoking some chicken wings on the smoker. I enjoyed a couple of cigars and a few cold ones while the wings were low and slow on the smoker. I see that the last night's Yankees game got rain delayed until today at 1605 (4:05 PM), hopefully they get both games today as it doesn't look today either. I hope you all stay dry and enjoy...... ?

    Good morning all, the coffee is on and it's a nice start to a new week. Before it gets to hot and sticky out, I'm going to cut the grass this morning, weed whack and all that jazz. Yesterday, Beth and I mostly relaxed out back in the gazebo enjoying cold beer, cigars and burgers on the grill. I've got to head out shortly as I have a VA eye doctor's appointment in Union, NJ at 1100 (11 AM). The VA initially had me going to a doctor in Staten Island but I called and asked to reschedule for a location not in the city. Enjoy your weekend all and stay cool....... ?
