See, Amazon Basin uses Brazilian Braganca tobacco which is equally rare and delicious. This tropical tobacco is packed full of exotic fruity and earthy flavors that we typically recommend with a Pinot Noir or Single Malt Scotch in the Drink Pairings section for this cigar on our website. But the #MixUpAGoodTime recipe video takes things up a notch by adding fruit to that red wine and allowing it to soak overnight to bring out even more of the tropical fruit notes in the Amazon Basin when enjoyed with this sangria recipe. How to Make Your Own Sangria
Sangria is a broad category of drinks that involves mixing wines with various fruits, juices, and other liquors. There are endless sangria recipes, but we teamed up with CAO to get the nitty-gritty details on the specific recipe they use to pair with Amazon Basin.

For a pitcher of sangria, you’ll need:

1 750ml bottle of Pinot Noir
2 oz. Brandy
½ cup of orange juice
½ lime - sliced
½ granny smith apple - diced
½ medium-sized orange - sliced
½ cup fresh raspberries - whole
½ cup pineapple chunks

Then:

Combined all ingredients into a large pitcher the evening before you want to try this pairing
Let the drink sit overnight for the flavors to marry
Pour into a cocktail glass filled with ice
Spark up, and enjoy!
