Nutty tasting notes appear frequently in premium cigars. Cigars with nutty tasting notes may have a hint of peanut butter on the draw, or a touch of salty cashew on the finish. Like nuts themselves, nutty tasting notes can be sweet or salty or both. Cigars with nutty flavor profiles run the gamut from lighter Claros to dark Oscuros.
Nuts in a flavor profile typically dovetail nicely with hints of earth, chocolate, cream, and/or fruit.
