The Best Cigar Bars in Boston

Boston does not suffer from a shortage of attractions. From historical landmarks like the Old North Church to consistently successful professional sports teams to world-famous bars and restaurants, Bean Town has plenty to offer visitors and locals alike. And that includes cigars, bars, and lounges! So, of course, we’re going to focus on where to smoke cigars in Boston. Take a look at a few of our favorite cigar bars in Boston:

Stanza dei Sigari

It would be difficult to dream up a cooler cigar lounge concept than what the fine folks at Stanza dei Sigari have created. First, it’s located in Boston’s historic North End neighborhood — which is home to a variety of exceptional (Italian) bars and restaurants. Second, the building that houses Stanza dei Sigari was once a 1920s speakeasy. Third, the welcoming yet classic decor strikes the perfect balance between refined and relaxing. While we have a soft spot in our hearts for every cigar bar (and every cigar bar we feature on our lists), there’s something special about Stanza dei Sigari. Stop by for a drink and indulge in their exceptional cigar collection the next time you’re in their neck of the woods.

Boston Cigar Club

Honestly, what’s not to love about Boston Cigar Club? Located on Main Street, Boston Cigar Club boasts a quality cigar lineup in addition to a choice cocktail menu and delicious Mediterranean food. This is an amazing spot for dinner, but we like it even better for private events and parties. Oh, and did we mention you can also smoke hookah here? Give it a shot if you’re into any (or all) of that!

L.J. Peretti Co.

While technically not a cigar bar or lounge, we have to give some love to a tobacconist in Boston with over 150 years of experience in the biz. L.J. Peretti Co. is a remarkable shop with a special selection of house pipe tobacco for those who enjoy the occasional pipe smoke.

Cigar and Lounge

Located just outside of Boston in Watertown, MA, Cigar and Lounge is a modern cigar shop with a fantastic selection of smokes and a relaxed, friendly atmosphere. Here’s a nice bonus as well — they have three 55” TVs, which makes Cigar and Lounge a prime spot for taking in a ballgame in Boston.
