Punch Golden Era : A Journey Through Vintage Flavors | iROBUSTO Meet in The Middle | @LeeMack912. The Punch Golden Era debuted in May 2023 in three regular production vitolas, using a blend of all Honduran tobaccos, most notably, the corojo-seed leaves the Eiroa family is known for. They are found in the wrapper, binder and filler, though the filler also includes some habano-seed tobacco.

In July 2024, General began shipping a fourth vitola for the line, a 7 x 38 lancero.

“The Eiroa family has perfected corojo tobacco and we are excited to bring it to life with Punch Golden Era,” said John Hakim, brand manager for Punch, in a press release when the cigar was announced last year. “This tobacco delivers a silky, golden wrapper, a binder with ideal combustibility and a filler that produces unique spicy notes and a spectrum of nuances. We’re especially pleased to make a true Corojo experience available for cigar lovers to enjoy any time the occasion calls for a rich and rewarding smoke.”
