Macanudo Returns to Europe with Emissary France

Macanudo is expanding its sophisticated Emissary lineup with a new cigar featuring tobacco grown near Bordeaux, France. The star of the release is a French tobacco grown in the Mugron River Valley, near French wine country, that imparts notes of salt and dark berries.

Macanudo Emissary France Blend Breakdown

According to Macanudo, the purpose of the Emissary lineup is to bring unique and refined European tobaccos to the world of cigars. Emissary France is comprised of an Ecuadorian Habano Wrapper (10-Year Aged), a USA Broadleaf Binder (10-Year Aged), and a filler blend composed of Dominican Piloto (10-Year Aged), USA Broadleaf (8-Year Aged), Brazilian Arapiraca (7-Year Aged) and French (4-Year Aged). The first in the series, Emissary España, featured tobacco grown in Riolobos, Spain. Its release garnered critical acclaim in the industry.

Going to France, which is famous for its incredible flavors and sophistication, felt like a natural next step. Macanudo Emissary France is a full-time release offered in four vitolas: 5 x 52 Robusto, 6 x 52 Toro, 7 x 48 Churchill, and 5.75 x 50 Perfecto. All sizes come in 16-count boxes, and the MSRP varies from $14.99 to $17.99 per cigar. Shipping to stores begins in March 2025.
