This month, La Gloria Cubana will begin shipping its newest cigar, Serie S, to retailers nationwide. This full-time release will follow the La Gloria Cubana traditions of larger ring gauges and robust smoking experiences while offering several unique elements that represent firsts for the brand.

La Gloria Cubana Serie S Blend Information

La Gloria Cubana Serie S features a Mexican San Andrés wrapper that has undergone a prolonged, low-temperature fermentation process. Serie S is the first La Gloria Cubana cigar to feature a Mexican wrapper. Grown in an area of the Veracruz region with potassium-rich, volcanic soil, this San Andrés tobacco possesses a golden-brown color and earthy-sweet flavor notes. Serie S also features a Nicaraguan Estelí binder above Nicaraguan and Dominican filler tobaccos. The overall taste profile includes leather, light spice, and general richness.

Steve Abbot, director of marketing for General Cigar Co., said, “Serie S combines large-ring formats, expert blending, and fine craftsmanship in a medium-to-full-bodied smoke. We believe this new collection will be a well-received addition to the brand portfolio.”

La Gloria Cubana Serie S is produced at the El Credito Cigar Factory in Santiago, Dominican Republic.

I wonder if these are from the blind taste test we did last year?
