I've seen some crazy things done in the cigar world... but I have never seen anything quite like the Diesel Esteli Puro. While so many cigar makers are blending for diversity, Justin Andrews and AJ Fernandez said, "let's go ahead and make a cigar with leaves from just one region - Esteli, Nicaragua".

Ever since this cigar was released, I've been scratching my head wondering what would possess these two accomplished cigar makers to do this. It seems to me that, by using tobaccos from just one region, they're limiting themselves from other tobaccos that would diversify the blend! So today, Justin Andrews is joining me in the studio to defend his new cigar, The Diesel Esteli Puro.
