Foundation's Aksum Claro features an Ecuador Sumatra Claro wrapper over USA grown Connecticut Broadleaf binder and fillers from the Esteli and Jalapa regions of Nicaragua. It's supposed to offer a blend that's as rich, deep, and complex as it's historically significant name. The work Aksum refers to Aksumite Kingdom, which legend has it is where the Ark of the Covenant is guarded to this day. Now it's time to see if Nick has crafted a blend that's worthy of this historic title. And the only way to find out is with a cut and a light.
