Alec Bradley Chunk Goes Sumatra

Alec Bradley is going big for its latest release. Alec Bradley Chunk Sumatra — the third cigar in the dedicated Chunk line — is set to hit shelves in October 2026. Like its predecessors (Maduro, Shade), Chunk Sumatra is available in thick sizes with ring gauges of 60 or bigger. As the name suggests, it boasts an Ecuadorian Sumatra wrapper and an entirely distinct blend.

Alec Bradley Chunk Sumatra Blend Breakdown

Alec Bradley Chunk Sumatra features an Ecuadorian Sumatra wrapper, a US Broadleaf binder, and fillers from the Dominican Republic, Nicaragua, and Honduras. It was produced in Honduras. 

Tasting notes include dried fruit, cedar, and spices. Recommended drink pairings are wheated bourbon, coffee, and Oktoberfest lagers.

It is a medium-bodied cigar.

Alec Bradley Chunk Sumatra is available in three sizes: XL (4 X 60), 3XL (4 X 66), and 4XL (4 X 80). SRP per cigar ranges from $6.49 — $9.49. Chunk Sumatra is sold in boxes of 20 — except for Chunk Sumatra 4XL, which is sold in boxes of 18. It is a full-time release and will ship to retailers in October.
