What a Treat!

Smoked: Davidoff Nicaragua Diadema

Back in September of last year, as some of you may already know, I returned to cigar smoking after an almost 25-year hiatus. My celebratory cigar of choice for the occasion was a Davidoff Nicaragua Diadema. Today, I revisited the delicious Diadema to commemorate the 1-year mark of again enjoying cigars. It was fabulous. Oh, what a wonderful year of cigars it has been! Perhaps next year at this time, I will celebrate 2-years with another Davidoff Nicaragua Diadema (it’s too pricey for me to have as a regular smoke in my rotation). Cheers!

Ah yes... the proverbial bucket list. We lovers of fine (and sometimes "cheap") cigars often have quite the bucket list. I know I do. Cheers, Brother, and I hope you have a smoky weekend!

It really was, shortstackz. Interestingly, my palate has definitely become more refined. When I smoked it a year ago, I really wasn't all that impressed. But now, oh my goodness, the flavors were delightful, and the transitions were obvious. Also, I paired it a year ago with a Heineken, which was just an okay pairing. Yesterday, I paired it with a Manhattan with Evan Williams Kentucky Bourbon. That was a MUCH better pairing! Cheers, Brother!
