Tatuaje Nicaragua Reserva Petite Cazadores is a petite corona that I have heard rave reviews from my Tatuaje friends. The wrapper is a rough, sandy, toothy tan Connecticut Broadleaf. Binder and filler: Nicaraguan.
It’s usually difficult to assess the flavors and write a review on a 4 x 40 petite corona. But, hey it’s a Tatuaje and even in this pint-size vitola it’s giving off flavors of wood, leather, pepper, dark chocolate, raisins, berries, and dark roast coffee. There’s a nice sweet-sour balance. It’s medium-full bodied and strength.
Good open draw for a petite corona, generous thick smoke output, fairly even burn line and wispy ash that holds on well for such a small cigar.
It’s hard to do much better than this when time is short and you need a cigar to fit the time frame. Tatuaje Reserva Cazadores is a very good medium-full bodied petite corona.
