From time to time, my neighbor brings me over sticks with no bands… He says tell me what you think… OK! I got this. This one shocked me… I swore off this manufacturer many years ago. Construction issues, inconsistencies, And a growing price tag, made it a no-brainer. This cigar is fantastic!!!! it’s probably been 10 years since I’ve smoked a Gurkha. This 125th anniversary rocks. ??

(17 months ago)I was the same way concerning Gurkha until I received a 12 cigar sampler as freebie with a box of another cigar brand from Thompson last December. I was so impressed with all the cigars I have purchased much more. Try the Beast...Titan...Yakuza and Ghost to name a few. I think you will be surprised.

(17 months ago)As far as the cigar goes… I was totally impressed. The burn the construction, and the flavor notes were actually very very well done. There’s a spiciness to it. But then there is, more than one, sweet notes, really can’t put my finger on them, but combined with the spice it really, really got my attention. I placed an order for a 10ski. I have not placed an order for Gurkha’s in a long, long, long time!

(17 months ago)I might have to revisit them. I quit that brand years ago. Every once in a while I find one in the humidor and give it away

(17 months ago)I've often said that I wouldn't smoke a Gurkah if one were given to me... but you and @TommyH2sT , with his positive review a while back (where is he, anyway???), may have me rethink that. ?

(17 months ago)I actually emailed him yesterday. Haven’t heard anything as far as a response goes. I’m hoping he is just too busy reeling in all those fish off of the Jersey coast.
