Montecristo Platinum

Another of the sample fiver... They keep getting better as I smoke them. Tonight's offering, the Montecristo Platinum Series in toro.

This cigar has a great draw, not too fast not too slow, just right. First and second thirds of the cigar were the same. Flavors of Hickory, Earth and fruit are amazing. A very nice peppery sensation on the retrohale... Not obtrusive but pleasant, I like that. Here in the last 3rd the hickory comes forward and the fruit kicks up a notch, the other flavors remained but in the background. The Mexican Cubano wrapper tasted of cocoa and fruit...

What a nice smoke... I am becoming a Montecristo fan.
