Smoked: La Aurora 107 Ecuador

Another outstanding cigar from La Aurora! This 5.5 x 54 toro has a wrapper from Ecuador, a binder from the Cibao Valley in the Dominican Republic, and filler from the Cibao Valley, Nicaragua, and Peru. Deep, rich flavor notes of wood, leather, earth, with a slight coffee sweetness made for an exquisite experience.

If you’re a fan of the La Aurora Preferidos 1903 Edition Ecuador (Emerald) line, you should be delighted with the 107 Ecuador. It’s like the 1903 with even more flavor, if you can imagine that. Simply superb!

It paired perfectly with a Manhattan. Cheers!

    You always give La Aurora good reviews. I am going to try them as the only one I have had is the 1903 Preferidos Ruby. That was years ago and a good smoke.

      I've yet to try the Ruby. There's one in the "Treasure Box" collection of tubos I picked up not long ago. Definitely looking forward to it. I'm very impressed with La Aurora.
