Question to the group over the few last few months I’ve been keeping a cigar log with the help of ChatGPT to keep scoring and taste in alignment of top 25 unique things of that nature just wondering, is that common anybody else do that looking for opinions?

(40 days ago)I keep some notes, and, as others have said, it sometimes works for me, at least because of my issue with writing so much, which can be an overwhelming task when just trying to enjoy the smoke, lol. Either way, when the smoke is solid, I write my thoughts in a Google Doc, use Grammarly, which is like ChatGPT, to fix some mistakes, and save my stuff organized in a folder. Most times, my thoughts are also posted up on Cigar World or other cigar scanner apps and pages, etc., but I do know I tend to write a little too much. Either way, good idea regardless. With ChatGPT, you can do a lot of tasks faster to help with data collection of your smoke

(52 days ago)I have kept a log for years in “notes” on my iPhone. Nothing too technical but it helps when you are cigar shopping to check and see if you’ve smoked it before and what your thoughts were. Also it’s fun to see where you were at the time, maybe a favorite lounge or smoking spot on a holiday.

(52 days ago)I did it for years and have about 10 books filled. Have not done it in a while. I keep my complete cigar inventory current and previous smokes virtually on cigar geeks now.

(52 days ago)**I have tried over the years but it becomes more of a distraction to the enjoyment of the cigar. I do have the app “my humidor “ on my phone and I will leave notes on it about a particular good pairing or not to add any more of a certain cigar. That’s just me. **
