Happy International Scotch Day

I’m enjoying a Diamond Crown as I’m preparing for the Super Bowl but also to celebrate International Scotch Day. I’m pairing with a Glenfiddich 14. This is a great pairing as the smoke is on the milder side and really lets the scotch shine. The Diamond Crown is a mild to medium bodied smoked. It starts of creamy smooth but the pepper slowly picks up. It has a great taste and aroma. The construction is ok, it has a very nice draw but the burn line was horrible. I sometimes blame the smoker for this but I have had a bit of history with this particular brand. Otherwise a good smoke.
