Hanging with Rocky…
A very dark Connecticut broadleaf wrapper, almost black. A Brazilian binder holds back the Nicaraguan guts. Roasted red pepper starts the show but quickly recedes. Dark chocolate, roasted nuttiness, espresso, charred brisket, wood notes but not like the normal cedar you get from nic guts, more like an oakiness thing. An ever so slight sweetness creeps into the background in the final third. One of Rocky’s better efforts.
