Caldwell Lost & Found Pepper Cream Soda Broadleaf
Caldwell Lost & Found Pepper Cream Soda Broadleaf Toro is a soft box pressed Nicaraguan filler and binder with a very dark brown oily Pennsylvania Broadleaf Oscuro wrapper.
It has a perfect burn line I was going to comment on the cigar’s solid ash which never fell off. As I’m composing this finishing the first third, the ash fell in my lap. Still, the burn line didn’t flinch. This stick has a reasonable smoke output.
It does have the flavors of the green band PCS but toned down. I’m not getting the same snap, crackle and pop you expect from a Pepper Cream Soda – probably due to the Broadleaf wrapper. The flavor profile includes mild coffee and cocoa, leather and earthiness, but very little spiciness. Love the aged tobacco flavors. The pepper kicks up a notch during the second third along with the earth and coffee notes.
