Caldwell Lost & Found Hit Squad

Caldwell Lost & Found Hit Squad is a medium-full bodied Piramide with a Habano wrapper. The strength was medium.

Flavors: pepper, wood, earth, leather and hints of cocoa. Not much to the flavor profile, but an OK smoke. One thing I enjoy about smoking a piramide is the flavor changes on the last third. As the vitola narrows, the Hit Squad gave up some of the cocoa and wood and unveiled more leather and herbs. The flavors were sparse and not balanced.

The construction is a bit sketchy. It yielded a nice volume of smoke output. The ash held pretty tight, but did require several touchups due to an inconsistent burn line.

I have tried smoking this cigar twice to see if it has more flavor notes I may have missed on this cigar since Lost & Founds can be inconsistent stick to stick No change. I don’t think I’ll give it another try. This is a “meh” cigar.
