Caldwell Lost & Found Hit Squad

Caldwell Lost & Found Hit Squad is a medium-full bodied Piramide with a Habano wrapper. It's a medium-full bodied cigar. The strength is medium.

Flavors: pepper, wood, earth, leather and hints of cocoa. Not much to the flavor profile, but an OK smoke. One thing I enjoy about smoking a Piramide is the flavor changes on the last third. As the vitola narrows, the Hit Squad gave up some of the cocoa and wood and unveiled more leather and herbs.

The construction is a bit sketchy. It yielded a nice volume of smoke ouput. The ash held pretty tight, but did require several touchups due to an inconsistent burn line.

Tried this cigar a couple of years ago and thought I'd give it another try just to see if it has more flavor notes I may have missed on this cigar since Lost & Founds cah be inconsistent stick to stick. Same profile. Same results. Not one of Mr. Caldwell's better "finds." Should have left it "lost."
