Blackened

I selected this stick to smoke because I wanted a full profile to accompany the freezing temps. A cold night with a heavy pour of bourbon and a need to relax.

This delivered.

I recently smoked a few different cigars on the 'full' scale was expecting something similar. The other cigars packed a flavor punch with that fullness that either raised it or killed it for the taste. Putting that much power behind a punch will give you a knockout or a swing and miss.

This hit but not in the same sense. The flavors (ranging from that oily, spicy, chocolate & earth) were omnipresent and nice but not overpowering. I really liked this and would recommend it.

When I was done smoking I sat back and knew I had a good cigar. In fact, I even said out loud 'That was a good cigar', but my dog was tired just wanted to go back inside; she didn't care about the cigar as much as I did.
