The only minor issue I have - the retrohale assaults your sinuses with heavy pepper and some charred wood and vegetal aromas. There’s sort of a barbecue aroma going on here. It’s medium-full bodied and medium strength.

Decent open draw, good smoke production, even burn line, and grey ash that held often to over half inch before falling or tapping off.

The flavors are plentiful, nuanced in transition and intriguingly complex. Black Label Trading Company has become masterful at blending small batch boutique sticks. Memento Mort is no exception. I like this cigar a lot.
