Smoked: La Gloria Cubana Spanish Press

My Spanish Press has had enough time in humidor to take one out and light with my replacement lighter. Thank you La Gloria Cubana. By the way, I REALLY like this cigar.

Goomba, I'm not sure how (or if) one can reply to a reply on here. . .lol...but just wanted to say thanks for taking the time to answer my question about "resting" time before smoking. I had to laugh when I read your last sentence about always needing more humidor space because, believe it or not, I'm running into that already. I have 3 different orders due in this week / early next week. Nothing huge on any of them, but I'm seeing how they do add up before you know it space-wise. At the moment, I have 3 acrylic jars, a Rubbermaid Brilliance "shoebox" type airtight container, a humongous Klip It airtight container, and one of those little Scotte acrylics they sell on Amazon that holds about 20 Rubustos. By the time my outstanding orders arrive and get put away, I'll be very nearly out of space. So already considering the move to an Audew coolidor w/ a 300 stick capacity. We shall see!! Anyway thanks again for the info. A month (or maybe even slightly longer) in humidor sounds like a real good idea to me.

I have a 50 stick humidor in my office, golf locker, at home for immediate consumption, 1 for handing out to people that don't need my good sticks, a 450 capacity that I bought @10 years ago(I thoight that should handle me) and I just put a 1000 capacity humidor in the bar in my house. They never hold as many as they say and it's hard not to buy a good deal. Enjoy!

How long do you normally keep a cigar in humidor after getting it? I'm a noob and trying to learn as much as I can from everyone I can. Thanks!

I like to let them set for a month or so to get the humidity back to where it should be after shipping. Once in a while I will smoke one right away because I'm like a little kid getting a present if I haven't tried the cigar before. This is a great sight to ask questions and not be judged. One piece of advice, you will always need more humidor space.
