New Smoke & an Old Friend

Smoked: Illusione Epernay D'Aosta

Pairing Oban 14 with a nice medium, light and mild cigar (6" x 50) with tobacco reportedly from all over Nicaraguan, then rolled in Honduras. Thought a nice mild cigar would leave room for the complexity of the Oban, a kiss of the seashore, a touch of saltiness lingers with a smooth finish, full of peaty smoke and fruit. Instead of going for a robust stick with the peaty malt, the light smoke was key.
