That stick in your photo is canoeing hard, almost all of the Surplus Gigantes I bought did the same. There's some kind of tar they have used as a filler which doesn't burn right, and makes the stick quite bitter when you eventually hit it. Definitely not the quality I'd experience from CAO even with a budget-priced stick. I'd say for my money, if I were to buy budget sticks, the Factory Smokes from Drew Estate are quite superior.
