For most of us, summer is a busy season. If your social calendar is filled with BBQs, vacations, and other functions, you may be struggling to find time to enjoy your favorite cigars. The good news is that whether you’re trying to minimize your time in the heat or looking to squeeze in a cigar during a day packed with activities, you can still enjoy a premium cigar in less than 30 minutes.

Here are Cigar World’s best short smokes for summer activities.

Cigar World’s Best Short Cigars

CAO Amazon Basin Daggers

Over the years, CAO Amazon Basin has secured its place as a cult favorite among cigar fans. Bold, exotic, and featuring Brazilian tobacco harvested deep in the Amazon rainforest, Amazon Basin Daggers (4 X 38) delivers exceptional flavor in a small and convenient size. While CAO releases Amazon Basin on an annual basis, supplies are often limited — so grab a pack of Daggers if you see them for sale in the wild.

Arturo Fuente Hemingway Short Story

One of the classics of the genre, Arturo Fuente Hemingway Short Story proves that you don’t have to compromise quality when working with small sizes. Rated 94 by Cigar Aficionado, the Short Story frontmark (4 X 49 Perfecto) makes a wonderful introduction to Fuente cigars, in addition to a welcome treat for longtime fans.

AJ Fernandez Last Call Corticas

AJ Fernandez is one of the most respected cigar makers in the industry — and for good reason. His penchant for crafting strong, yet nuanced blends is on full display with the Last Call Corticas (4 x 52). Rated 93, this Ecuadorian Habano-wrapped cigar should be on everyone’s shortlist (pun intended) this summer.

Oliva Serie V Melanio Maduro No. 4

Amazing cigars don’t have to last two hours. There are few better examples of this than Oliva’s Serie V Melanio Maduro No. 4 (4.5 X 46). This dark and chocolatey cigar delivers everything you could want from a smoke — except, of course, protracted length. Grab a few the next time you’re at the cigar shop because your friends will definitely want to give one a try.

Drew Estate Liga Privada Papas Fritas

Drew Estate isn’t afraid to buck convention, and while the popular Papas Fritas (4.25 X 43) line may not look like a classic cigar, we assure you it’s a delight down to the last puff. Get the full experience of the acclaimed Liga Privada line without committing to a large cigar.
