Cigar Reviewed: Romeo y Julieta Reserve

Temperature at the start of the smoke: 20 degrees

The weather had been dictating my smoke-ability over the last week or so. Single digits are a no-go for me and the ‘teens’ are tough too.

It had been over a week since my last cigar so I decided to suffer the elements and chose this bad boy to accompany my suffering.

The wind chill was nil so at least I had that going for me.

The bourbon was good and no ice was needed to chill it.

And the cigar was good too.

This corona smoked perfectly from start to finish; no issues with lighting or construction.

The flavor I got was more ‘woody’ than anything and it was a good-tasting kind of woody.

I really liked this cigar.

When I went back inside, I was practically numb from the cold but I hadn’t realized it during the hour or so it took me to smoke the cigar.

Maybe it was the enjoyment of getting to take the time and relax with that cigar.

Maybe it was the bourbon.

Temperature at the end of the smoke: 18 degrees
