Cigar Reviewed: Partagás Cortado

Smoked at: Vancouver, WA

Tonight I’m smoking a new cigar thanks to Cigar World. This is a Partagas Cortado Corona. It has a light Ecuador Connecticut wrapper. It’s composed of an Indonesian binder around a filler blend of Honduran tobacco from Jamastran, Mexican tobacco from San Andrés and Nicaraguan leaf grown in Condega and Jalapa.

Right off the bat I noticed a Semi-Sweet tip. Smooth draw with notes of cream at first, followed with toast. Then about midway through a little nut and spice. It has a very pleasant aroma and burned evenly till the end. This mild to medium bodied blend is definitely one I’ll be adding to my humidor in the near future.
