Tough pull to full flavor

Cigar Reviewed: Emelio Grimalkin

Wrapper smelled fantastic, just very slightly oily; looked like great construction. Overall disappointing factor is how hard it is to to pull a decent amount of smoke— like using a coffee straw to drink a milkshake— not pleasant! Uneven burning and re-light. Lacking any mentionable flavor. 45 min and not halfway though— I’m already bored 15 minutes ago. At halfway point finally something interesting: intriguing spice and chocolate. The ‘tine kicks in. Zippy peppery retrohale. Am I enjoying it? Yes. Still hard pull. Relight. Damn just when things were going well. With a consistent burn going, flavor returns and it’s becoming… lovely. Spice , pepper, bittersweet cocoa. Full bodied goodness. This is turning around. Looks can be deceiving. I’d like to try this again with a friendlier pull, as access to its mysteries were needlessly complicated.
