Cigar Reviewed: Partagás Cortado

Smoked at: Texas City, TX

Big shout out to Cigar World & the folks over at Partagas Cigars for giving me the opportunity to review this new stick.

My first impression was that I really like the design of the band, I personally enjoy bright & bold colors that speak to strength and leadership. I have always enjoyed a good mild stick that can packs a punch, while making me desire the next puff. In the first third I really tasted a strong spicy flavor that made me feel..." Is this really a mild stick"? The color was what I would expect from a Connecticut shade leaf with good construction. The ash was good and lasted past that first third. The draw was perfect my my taste, not to loose & still having a tight wrap.

The stick was so good, that I even invited the wifey to join me...(she is a mild smoker who really likes infused sticks). The smile on her face was all I needed to know about how she felt about the stick. That smile was quickly followed by a few more puffs, that left me feeling that I may have just lost my chance at getting another puff LOL. But at the end of the day we both felt that Partagas did a good job at stepping into a new arena with the Cortado! Looking forward to trying more sticks from the Partagas line in the very near future.
