St. Patrick’s delay Smoke 🍀

St. Patrick’s was yesterday, but I kept the vibe going today with something a little different. This one was already sitting in my humidor not something I went out and grabbed and definitely not my usual go-to, but I figured why not switch it up.

While I was smoking it, I had a cigar podcast playing in the background. They got into a whole discussion about infused smokers and how some lounges look at them. Honestly, I don’t really get the issue. Smoke what you like. Sometimes you want something sweet, sometimes you want something more traditional it’s all preference at the end of the day.

The smoke itself was solid. Nothing crazy complex, but still enjoyable for what it was, especially just kicking back and keeping the St. Paddy vibe going a day later.

That podcast conversation actually had me thinking about lounges in general, especially after stopping by a few recently. I’ve noticed some spots using these glass display-style humidors with humidification systems inside, but with noticeable gaps where air can move in and out pretty freely. To me, that just doesn’t make much sense you’re losing consistency, and it opens the door for outside air, bugs, or whatever else to get in.

Has anybody else seen a humidor setup like that basically more of a glass display than a properly sealed system?
