I’ve always been a fan of Tatuaje cigars and usually enjoy their blends, so I went into this one expecting that same great experience. I tried it a few different ways first with soda, then with Japanese whiskey, and later with an Angry Orchard Hard Cider. Unfortunately, the flavor just didn’t hit the mark for me this time. It had a bit of an odd note that I couldn’t quite pin down.

The construction was solid and the burn was decent, though I did have to touch it up a few times and use the Perfect Draw to open it up. To be fair, I was working while smoking and taking long pauses anywhere from 30 to 45 seconds, sometimes even a minute so that might’ve played a part in how it burned and tasted.

Overall, it was an okay smoke. The box design looks great, but I’m glad I didn’t go for a full box purchase. Not something I’d personally reach for again, but I’d be curious to hear what others thought of their experience with it.
