Smooth smoke.

Cigar Reviewed: Oliva Serie V Melanio Maduro

Smoked at: Wisconsin

I really enjoyed this full tasting, almost creamy smoke. I caught a bit of the pepper burn at first. But that mellowed out very fast and transitioned into a sweet tobacco. As I smoked the second third of the cigar, I started to catch the malted coco flavor which seemed nice and creamy to me. It definitely was the pleasure zone of the cigar. And as I finished the last third, it started to warm up in spice again. But I enjoyed that also because I felt my tongue still had the creaminess lingering from the 2nd third. The last third was nice also. It had some bread like and pepper notes. But all good things come to an end when you're left with a finger nub to hold on to. I would recommend it as a medium/full cigar to the experienced smoker. It was a pleasant smoke. By storing it at 65°/65% for a week, It burned well with no issues. If you can get a price point under $10, you'll have a favorite in you humidor
