INTENCIÓN
Cold Draw
Has a sweet hay taste.
First Draw at the Light
A sweet, dry, nutty flavor with a light astringent spice that cleanses the palate, preparing it for the next pull.
On the retrohale, you get a light spice that amplifies more of that nutty, buttery sweetness.
Easy draw
Light smoke output
First Third (1/3)
That sweetness continues and transfers to the lips.
The ash is evenly white, holding straight like a top hat.
As I approach the next third, I'm starting to get hints of a light coffee roast, sweetness, and extra-light spice through the retrohale.
The ash has nice resistance, letting me know the internal construction is even and well-made.
Second Third (2/3)
I'm getting a light bitterness similar to what you get from a slightly over-toasted slice of bread. It's easily enjoyed alongside the buttery sweetness that is still present.
Final Third (3/3)
That light coffee roast is becoming more prominent.
The sweet, dry hay flavor cuts through the light bitterness. I'm enjoying the heavier smoke output, which lets me appreciate more of the tobacco's earthiness. My taste buds may also be picking up hints of dark chocolate.
El Fin
I would definitely add this cigar to my regular rotation and recommend it to anyone learning to appreciate the flavors that a well-made cigar has to offer. I would love to try this blend in a lancero vitola to experience the tobacco in greater depth.
