My Father - Lancero

Cigar Reviewed: My Father My Father

Smoked at: Acworth, GA

The cigar opens with a slightly bitter note on the initial draw, which quickly settles into a more balanced profile with pepper notes. The aroma remains consistently refined throughout the experience, offering a pleasant and well-integrated olfactory presence.

Paired with a Costa Rican black coffee (Americano), the combination delivers a clean and complementary profile. However, a more concentrated espresso may have enhanced the cigar’s nuances more effectively. Given the lancero format, the choice of a larger coffee was practical, allowing for a more extended and synchronized pairing.

The smoke production is on the lighter side, with a controlled draw and an overall composed burn. The cigar performs well, delivering a nuanced experience that aligns with the expectations of a seasoned smoker. Overall, a solid and enjoyable cigar, particularly for those who appreciate subtlety and balance over intensity.
