San Cristóbal Quintessence
Cold Draw- cedar, sweet, a slight fruitiness like not so much a dark fruit but a semi sweet fruit.
Hot Draw- the cedar is strong in this oneeee it’s got that going but some slight spice but nothing crazy! There’s coffee notes, cocoa but not the sweet kind haha ? man this is like tasting coffee (I LOVE COFFEE) there’s a sweetness and I looked it up and it’s molasses mmmm that’s unique!
I was really excited to try this one! I am learning more about Ashton cigars and found this was one of theirs so I jumped on it! In addition to the name I LOVE Scarlet Macaws and the tropics, so naturally the band art stuck out. This band screams “HAVE A CIGAR AND RELAX!” But in a nice way not a drill sergeant way (you know what makes me sad… YOU DO! Haha ?) I was given this drink by my brother who is into craft beer/cider bourbon, whisky, etc. he said this would go well with something, had some tartness, and maybe would go well with one of my cigars soooo I wanted to give it a shot with this one and boyyeeeee it’s good! The tartness pairs well with the cedar and cocoa notes and the spice is slight. Didn’t think it would work but wanted to try! The cherry pairs well with the coffee notes, too, so I definitely recommend these together!
