Cigar Reviewed: Man O War - Armada
This is one of those cigars that commands attention the moment it’s in your hand. The Man O’ War Armada, with its sharp black-and-gold band and high-gloss presentation, sets expectations high—and largely delivers.
I lit this one up in the garage, and from the first few draws, the flavor came through deep and rich. While I’m still early in my time with it, there’s already a clear luxurious feel to the smoke, backed by dark Nicaraguan flavors. The draw is smooth, and the wrapper—an oily Ecuadorian Sumatra—adds a refined sweetness beneath the bolder earthy tones.
This is a cigar with presence, both visually and in flavor. Compared to other AJ Fernandez creations I enjoy—like the New World or Ruination—this feels like a step up in strength and maturity. Definitely not a casual everyday stick. This is the kind of cigar you light up when you want to mark a moment
