Cigar Reviewed: Macanudo Emissary France
Smoked at: Dubuque, Iowa
This cigar smelled really good. At first draw it was a little bitter, but improved as I progressed into the cigar, which in my experience is typical of cigars in general. I smoked mine with a Hamms tallboy. Maybe I should've gone with a whiskey on the rocks instead. It's not really a lawnmower cigar. This cigar had very earthy tones and a smooth taste, and I would qualify it as a sophisticated smoke. Because it was a French cigar I was expecting something, shall we say, 'extraordinaire,' and I think it was just that. Next time I'll take a picture.
