Cigar Reviewed: Lost & Found Cigars Cream Machine Lancero
Smoked at: Texas
As a graphic designer, I definitely shop by the design of the label. I tend toward different things flavor and size-wise but am a sucker for a good label.
Lost & Found has some cool cigars they have uncovered from old factories or back rooms at collector's house, and this one definitely caught my eye. I've been liking lanceros a lot lately. The size in my hand is nice and the length makes me feel like I'm committing to something worthwhile, even if it is a cheap cigar.
I paid $14 for this cigar, and wasn't disappointed. This was a little spicy on the nose when I first lit it, but it stayed consistent and even as it burnt down. The smoke was a little thick and permeated a bit (good cigar for smoke rings lol). I was able to get a good 1.5 inches of ash on it before it decided to break.
Nice oils on the wrapper, good spicy peppery flavor but still mild in the beginning. As I moved down 2/3 of the way it became a little creamy, delicious, and almost had a whiskey flavor to it. Finished the whole thing. If this was someone's reject at making a cigar, I'd say that one man's trash is another man's treasure. Not on my top five fav smokes of all time, but definitely worth a go.
